The markers that make it into the final vote are chosen by the judges. If you don't like it, then next month sign up to be a judge. that's my .02 anyway.

I was surprized the nice anno on that cocker didn't get it in. I also liked the 2 vikings, the dark grey one looked nice. Then again this is AO and everyone loves warps, z grips, and insanely complicated guns.

Can't say anything for mine, because that'd be biased

Ordered a new body for it though, should look a lot nicer.

Ok we BOOHOO when the GOTM has no prizes and runs late.
We BOOHOO when the marker we think should get in don't...though we aren't judges.
This entire GOTM thing seems to be an excuse for 4-5 people to get their prefferences publicly insulted every month rather than a cool little FUN contest that now actualy HAS prize with it ..not just PRIDE. (that and a $4.95 will get you a cup of coffee)

May be time for me to BOOHOO to someone else about "OH ITS BIASED!!".

Frankly , I am tired of looking at average set ups to find a handful of gems to nominate ever month.Then listening to people call me to the carpet over an OPINION based contest.

And to be blunt, the past 2-3 months offerings have been tough to find gems amongst the average.

So, this would seem to indicate all the GREAT markers out there with the custom milling and anno work (that are done and not works in progress) are in hiding or...do not exist..or I am SO jaded to ALL things paintball related that I am blind to all TRUELY beautiful markers.

Being a Galaxy class gun whore...I doubt the last line VERY much.

As for the Viking/Excal thing.
Yes, some are rare. Yes they are pretty anno. But they just dont jump out and grab ME.
Since I was a judge...my opinion counts in THIS MATTER.
To ME, they appear boxy and uninspiring regardless of the color.(Not saying I have not seen NICE Vikings/Excals, just saying the ones this month didn't grab me)AND TO BE CLEAR I AM NOT KNOCKING THE OWNER WITH THE VERT FRAMED ONE.
I am sure this is the best marker he has ever set up. I think its great that they went though all that extra work to get it the way they wanted.
Just did not do anything for ME.

You can argue until your lips fall off ...your not changing my opinion on what marker I chose to be up on the GOTM.

I agree. It should be called Mag of the month.

At least that way others will not waste their time putting their pride and joys up and get beat by a lesser gun. I just dont see why the judges have NO appreciation for any other gun besides a mag.

I dunno though, now that I get a better angle of adglovers emag, its close between that and phantoms.
