Dicipline. Football coaches, for example, instill at least a sense of dicipline in their players. Some. I mean they're not perfect.

In Paintball there is no dicipline. Outside of a few people who call themelves coaches there's no program, there's no mental dicipline, there's nothing of the sort. And there's no reprecussions for actions made. Show me one player fined in tournament paintball. A few (emphasis FEW) have been suspended, but nobody has had to pay for infractions. Hell, Salm was only suspended for his "sniper" ploy.

    Oh, for reference :

Todd Bertuzi pled guilty to an assault charge from an on-ice incident where he sucker punched a player from the Colorado Avalanche, Steve Moore. Bertuzi was going to plead not guilty to the charge. Bertuzi skated up behind Moore, and delivered a roundhouse to Moore's head. He then drove Moore's head into the ice, giving him a concussion and a fractured neck. Bertuzi said later "I don't think of myself as a criminal".

Many fans and players agreed (Even the player union, if I recall it correctly), but the NHL, at least one judge, and MANY analists of the sport saw enough proof of intent to have him fined, suspended and arrested for the incident shortly after it happened. Bertuzi stalked Moore all night, trying to goad him into a fight. When Moore had nothing to do with Bertuzi, Bertuzi assaulted him from behind.

There's been other arrests for on-ice incidents, but this is the most recent.

A thuoght, when the cheating comes from the top down. You have to wonder why a promoter of an event would do such a thing. Think about it, if the people who are running the event are doing nothing about the cheating, after all these years I have come to the conclusion that as the teams start cheating and it becomes common place, it is easier for in the chaos for the promoter to use it to throw in a few bad calls to bring a team he would like to win the event. Sort of like using the cheating as a smoke screen, and it would only take one or two ref's to change the outcome. This may sound far fetched, but I have seen it. The thought on the legal action, I have concidered taking legal action against the promoters, and the teams involved, and the sponsors of the teams. I prefer to treat others as I would like to be treated, but if others insist on treating me a certain way, then they must be begging for me to treat me that way too. Just my two cents, good luck and good hunting
