    Mq-Valve

Well, I know this is a picky subject at the moment because it is yet to be fully released, but I thought Id try anyway.

    1. Im correct in the fact that they have proven there is a simple way to make it for automags(they dont need to completely redesign is and its going to take forever)?

    2. Will it make the mag electronic? Will it need sometype of board and such to have it work properly?

    3. Does anyone know what the cost will be around? Like just an estimate, because I have no idea.

bah, the mag is so simple.. why would anyone need an mQvalve for it? maybe I'm missing something but it seems like it's entirely useless unless it gets 500 more shots per fill than a regular X-Valved mag.

What you saw was a PROTOTYPE and PROOF OF CONCEPT. Hasn't gotten much past that.

      Yes

      No idea. See #1.

And yes, the mQvalve is MORE air efficient than an Xvalved mag can be.

The MQ valved mag will pretty much be a good gun in it's self. It will just use a Mag body and or other parts...or will it...heh.

I would look forward to it, while it's not going to be a mag, I like the idea of it looking like a mag because funcunaly Mags are the best "looking" and practical in the over all external look and design of a gun. Small....streamlines...simple.

I haven't visited AO in awhile. But just to keep you guys updated, we are moving forward with it. We'll make information available once it becomes appropriate.

Is this supposed to fit into existing guns or would it have to go into a gun designed for it?

Didnt know anyone from PBX ever came here. Nice to see they are getting somewhere. Even the fact that you responded gives me chills. I cant wait.

Bravo, they already designed it for the autococker and released it to the preorders, but as you probably know, autococker valves dont work in many other markers(if any). Mag valves are unique too. Its going to take a while for them to get production going for all markers.

That is some of the best news for the mag I have heard in a long time. Besides the P-Mag.

its not really a mag. they just used a ULE body/rail for the mQ-Valve.... aside from that, it was a E1 frame.......

So...who is to say it is a mag or not. It looks like a mag, and is using a frame that you can get for about $200 used.

But the valve isn't operating like any of the AGD valves, thusly it's wouldn't be a mag is some people's eyes. Could be cool, but I wouldn't get a Mag version. If I invest in an MQ, its for a Merlin.

It should also correct the issue of velocity being a function of ROF - more consistent over the chrono and more reliable for snap shooting. Ideally, anyway.

Something to keep in mind... with an MQvalve in there, it's barely a Mag any longer... it's mostly described as a PBX gun with a mag body. The valve is what really defines AGD's markers. Put a new valve and an eblade on there, and you've created something else entirely.

That's a demarcation it seems PBX is trying very hard to maintain, at least by my perception of tone of their posts.
