    Vents without vents?!?

Not all of us are speedballers, some of us still play just for fun. Personally, I picked my first pair of Vents because I wear eyeglasses and can't wear contacts. The vents on the side keep my eyeglasses from fogging up. It also feels great when you're hot and sweaty and the slightest breeze washes across your face.

I was hoping for something a little more unique too.

There is also another goggle at the lower end of the price spectrum (not shown yet) that comes down lower and gives significantly more coverage for those wusses who want it.
I've got the old style flex-7 which uses thicker rubber, so I don't get smacked hard very often.

Nice to hear about the features... thanks for the answers buddy. I'll most definitely check it out, and possibly buy my first new mask in years.

Oh, one more question... how does the weight compare to other masks?

Jaan, your quote is out of context. The vents in these Vents are very specifically designed to work in a special way. Same as the vents in the original goggle were. Lots of testing and research was done. This goggle has 'functional' vents rather than ones that were thrown in just for cosmetic reasons. The vents work with the way your breathe hits the goggle and moves around the inside of the goggle. Can't tell you specifics quite yet, but so far it's been working very well. I've been playing in nearly 100* heat and 99% humidity!

The goggle is designed to fit and work with glasses. Up until recently when I got lasik I was also a glasses wearer so that issue was close to my heart (when I first started design goggles I still wore glasses). The frame doesn't push on the glasses arms and I have a very special system for those with glasses to keep them from fogging. It's going to be better (in my opinion), and unlike anything anyone else has ever done.

Sam, I now also have a goatee, and it doesn't touch, but I guess it does depend on your beard length.

There are a lot of unique features to these goggles. All will be released at the World Cup. So far all the pictures do is give you an idea of looks. Not functionality.

Very similar to Profiler in weight, lighter than Flex 7 and significantly lighter than Dye goggles. But because the weight is better distributed they feel less 'heavy' on your head, again in my biased opinion. I can't wait till others have them so they can give opinions also.

                        I love the new Vents.
I'm gonna be one of the idiots who sells their profiler for one.

That could very well completly reverse my opinion though I think I'd still like it better in darker colors.

Only thing im curious about is the lenses...

Are the single pane lenses going to be POS single panes like JT single panes, or awsome single panes like V force goodness. I prefer the V force lenses over the JT thermals because there is less to worry about when cleaning and whatnot, but are the Vents single panes going to actually be good, or just the econo-poo lense?

Edit - and when is world cup?

Nice system, i think im still gonna grab a profiler. For years i wanted a quick change system from a gogle company, but the closest players got was clipping the T tabs off a flex 7 (im sure its not safe, but it was the only "quick" change system in those days). Finally a company listened to what the players whanted (go v-force) and made a load of money. Now over the last year or two everyone and their mother has gone to quick change lenses, and thats cool im glad they finally woke up; but im still gonna send my money off to the company that innovated.

(no i wont believe the happy yellow magic rubbery plastic "fang" stuff is an innovation)
Tom was the last of a now extinct breed, a breed of players who build a community, a breed of owners who gave to the sport never taking more than what they deserved. I hope to see you at the feild again some day....

Will it only work with these new goggles or can we use it on our existing goggles. Those of us with glasses want to know...
