Why? I don't use ramping - I'm exposing myself to a risk of injury but no more than normal civil or criminal liabiliy than any other time I play. I also don't beleive that ramping reflects that much of an advantage at the skill level I am at. The only thing I am exposing myself to is the chance of being injured. And as much as I beleive that chance is there I find it within acceptable limitations even in such cases. There are also, at least at some of them, reasonable overshooting rules. PM me if you want names but I'm not making it a public issue as far as who did it."Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better. Its not" - Dr Suess -
I never said you did ramp, I said the field owner is an idiot for allowing it. If he allows uncapped ramping at a field with rec players that is just plain stupid. You can argue the ramping thing all day so I am staying away from it. I also have never seen uncapped ramping at any tourney (I have seen it at scenario games though) in the world regardless of sanction or skill level. I will pm you about the field.my feedback

A field owner allowing its use is a risk to reward analysis. I think there wrong first of all but I understand where they are coming from. They have determined the risk of liability is worth the reward of extra paint sales. I think they have underestimated the liability side of the equation myself, but I understand where they are coming from."Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better. New very cool news from Dave Youngblood himself @ matrixowners
$200ish aint' bad for a dm6 gripframe including internalsOriginally posted by Dave YoungbloodThe DM6 will have a suggested retail of $1399.95.
Efficiency: I was informed that the DM6 will supply a minimum of an additional 100 good shots.
Eye's: It is neat and simple. we inserted transparent plastic inserts into the eye hole cavity so that the eye pocket is filled and smooth to the bore. This prevents any debris or paint from interfering.
The rumor is true. We are producing the new DM6 frame for THE DM4. DM5 and PM6. The frame will be identical to the frame that comes standard on the DM6. They are in production now and should be available in three weeks. I think they will retail in the low $200 and it come complete with a board.

Here is what it will come down to regardless
1-Do I have enough money for a dm6?
2-I guess not I will just get a dm5, do I have enough money for a dm5?
3-I guess not I will just get a pm6, do I have enough money for a pm6?
4-I guess not I will just get a pm5, do I have enough money for a dm4?
5-continue until you back to a gen-e dm3
If you do not think the extra $400-500 (for different size, weight, look, parts, etc) is worth a dm6 then do not get it. Do not say you I will get the cheaper one and start adding parts onto until I realize I spent more putting ups on the cheaper one trying to get the same features as the more expensive one. No hate, just love

wrong actually, the dm6 has been quoted at 1.5 oz, where the pm6 has been quoted at 1.6.
With the frame, maybe, but in all reality, you are missing alot on the pm6. also, by the time you pruchase the new frame, and any other anemities you want to run the pm6 like the dm6, you will have spent more than you would have purchasing the dm6 flat out. not to mention, it will still be less efficient, and run at a higher pressure, and not have the self cleaning eyes, nor will they be available for purchase to my knowledge, because of the way they are assembled.
