So, its 11 in the morning, im waking up, walkin around in my boxers, and this lady in an ugly blue on blue uniform is standing at my door ringing my bell, of course im all like wtf, put on some pants and a shirt, and open the door, and what do i see but a lady holding this:



im like, ok il sign for it, it has my name on it afterall so i take it in side and procede to open it up



Instantly my heart jumps as i remove this




remove the slip and...

VOILA!




yup, dm6 baby. Ive been waiting on this for about a month now, and it finally arrived. Shoots wonderfully. and i believe dye has set a new benchmark.

well, lets see. New solenoid, capable of faster, more efficient cycling. New bolt, running at 140 psi ish compared to 185ish, new super comfortable frame, new trigger with more adjustment, new front on off, smaller, lighter (1.4lbs i believe without barrel and reg lighter than stock bodied shocker which is the lightest of shockers, timmy, and ego) new board, no more battery harness its now ego clip style, and self cleaning eyes, and its more efficient.

edit, also, looking at the picture, apparently my flash brought out alot more blue in the fade, making the eye covers look out of place, its a very slow, very gradient fade, and the camera doesnt do it justice, once we get some sun around here, il take some out door pics.

I thought these things were ugly, and that little had changed over my 05 proto. Then I held one at my local proshop. The grip really is so much nicer than anything I have held before. It just feels right, where so many grips i've held feel like a brick with a rubber grip. The gun is also allot sexier in person. it's wierd, but now I want one :)
There will be an ultralight gripframe for the proto too, and I might just have to pick that up.

yup, ul frames for all the old dye models, the 05 proto frame should be out now in mass release

i still like the look of the DM5 a bit better, but damn that UL frame is comfy.

I heard that the UL frames for the Proto and other DM guns come with a board?

the Ul frame is amazingly comfortable, and i do not have massive hands, just normal ones, albiet a little hammy.

Yes, the aftermarket ul frames are comming stock with the dm6 board installed, just worked a bit differently for eye connections between proto and dm.

as i said, a review, and a tutorial will be posted probabally some time tomorow, i will link the tutorial here, and post the review here.
