I had 2 bounces my first game. I jumped out of the way of fire and didn't get hit over 20 times. Smart newbs make smart moves. Only dumb newbs would call himself out on a bounce from the fear of being hit by a plethora of paintballs.

Well you did very good for your first time then. But I don't make the rules where I play, I just play by em. The people at my local field stress that when your hit your hit. And the newbies there also follow the rules as best as they can.

Well, I play by paint. If there's a fresh paint mark you're out. If there isn't you're still in. Every field in my area does that.

I wish my field would go like that. But if i'm hit and no break I usually stay in. But I guess the way the figure it is that if someone is using really hard paint its kinda a disadvantage to them. But I say all's fair in love and paintball. (acutally I stole that quote and changed it) But like 80% of the people at my local field are newbies and leave before there hit. So i guess its all good as long as you get a day of paintball out of it.
