I asked this same question some time ago and the answer was danced around .

I did hold a DM6 this weekend, and did not like the way the UL frame felt to me. Now, it could simply be because I am used to full size grip frames in both shooting and playing paintball, but ehh, was not impressed. One has to wonder if they are going to have the same issues with "twisting" frames that Shockers had (ok, so I have only seen like two Shockers that ever had that problem, but still the only place I have seen it).

Mmm..... I don't know. It feels solid enough to me , I think the Shocker issue had more to do with the grade aluminum they use for thier frames. Not sure tho.

I don't really have a clue Just throwing out possibles and waiting for the Dye crowd to swoop in

I didn't like the UL frame myself, not to say others might not really like it and find it useful. For instance, I'm sure Dye finds it useful and likes it for seperating people from $200+

the UL deffinately feels more solid to me than a shocker does.

i asked the same question about holding the whole frame. on my mag, i deffinately dont. and with the Ul i hardly do, but being able to pinch the frame with my thumb/finger i have found to be very nice. i notice i have more control when i shoot one handed(like when slidding into a snake and putting a string down the tape, or knee sliding, etc.)

That's about it for me....off the break I can really crank down on it and feel safe when taking that first slide. After that..... worth $250 for 'less' frame OH HECK NO.

I do... I am going to try and actually play with a ULed Matrix this weekend. Until then--
