Intent is the key. I'm pretty solid in thinking that while not everyone out there wipes, I can almost guarantee that everyone has played on after a hit. Couple weekends ago, I took one in the arm. Checked the spot I was hit on, and saw nothing. Not a surprise, there had been a lot of bounces that day. After the game, I realized that there was indeed a hit there, my sleeve had rotated to the point where I couldn't see it. Such things happen, and when there are consequences, I'm grown-up enough to accept them, and admit what happened.

I shall now have to correct you. I believe we met once upon a time at Dedicated in Madison. In 15 years in the game, I have never wiped a hit. Not even once. The opportunity has presented itself plenty, but for whatever reason, I'm hardwired to follow the rules. One tournament comes to mind right off the top of my head - took a hit in my foot that nobody else saw. Ref even checked me and called me clean. I stood up and walked off, pointing at my foot. Then the guy who had hit me went nasty quickly, and bonus balled me as I left the field.

Of course, that would require some ability to comprehend on your part, which I am pretty certain you are lacking. you sound like a 15 year old who just got out of Chemistry class after the teacher just explained what potassium cyanide. Why would i want potassium cyanide when i could have MPTP instead. You have no way of knowing what Lohman looks like over the internet, so insulting his looks is probably the most idiotic insult to throw at him. Even your death wish for him is stupid. If you have such an intense dislike for him, the least you can do is wish him a painful, violent death rather than death by poison (which, by the way, is most commonly used by females-- are you a girl?). Those who have seen my posts lately. Is it more likely I kill myself by accidental poisoning or in a freak farm implement / auto related / firearm accident? Based on my past history of near misses, I don't think poison is the likely culprit

FoxTrot88, you had a very simple chance to answer with sensible debate but blew it. Renegade ball is illegal pure and simple and ANY injuries would result in a massive lawsuit and who knows what else depending on the injury regardless of any 'gentlemans agreement'. Of course I have heard the other extreme "while I call myself out on bounces" to imply not doing so is cheating. I have also seen people complain ramping, even when allowed within the rules, is cheating. So... what is cheating?

Wiping- How can it not be cheating? You get hit, your hit, which means you are OUT. To pretend it didn't happen is just like speeding. Just because you haven't gotten caught... your still speeding.

Ramping- Just because they change the rules because they can't catch those who do it doesn't make it anymore justified. It just shows the pull the paint industry or manufacturers have in a the "pros". The paint industry loves ramping because more paint gets wasted which = more money for them. Manufacturers like it because it's a marketing tool for their markers. Meanwhile skill goes down and fairplay is destroyed.

Shooting hot- reckless playing, renegade or rec/tourny. Just reckless.

To sum it up... if you have to cheat to win, your only admiting to yourself that you can't hack it, so you try to change it by covering up your falacies.

Cheating = anytime you break the rules to gain an advantage.
