Ramping- Just because they change the rules because they can't catch those who do it doesn't make it anymore justified. It just shows the pull the paint industry or manufacturers have in a the "pros". The paint industry loves ramping because more paint gets wasted which = more money for them. Manufacturers like it because it's a marketing tool for their markers. Meanwhile skill goes down and fairplay is destroyed.

so... although its allowed according to the rules, and commonly acceptable on the field by both refs and the other players, its still cheating? i want a logical explanation of this train of thought.

Those who have seen my posts lately. Is it more likely I kill myself by accidental poisoning or in a freak farm implement / auto related / firearm accident? Based on my past history of near misses, I don't think poison is the likely culprit

I'm referring to rec fields/tournies that disallow it and people use it anyway. If your in a league that allows it, so be it, I won't be there. I think it is really unnecessary and takes away a lot of skill that could be put to use on the field.

Renegade ball is illegal pure and simple and ANY injuries would result in a massive lawsuit and who knows what else depending on the injury regardless of any 'gentlemans agreement'. You will not be able to answer this and unless I have read this thread wrongly I suggest your friend doesn't attempt any smart answers or he/she will be going the same way.

That was the sensible way to respond, unlike your friend. So I have no problem with that...I don't agree with your joint views about 300fps but enough of the others participating in this thread have already pointed out the shortfalls of that view. We dont exceed regulation to be unsafe.. under the conditions i play 300 fps isnt enough speed to travel the paint across open fields and through vegitation. It just so happens that the sting that comes along with the increase weeds out cheaters and people who wipe.

Dont missunderstand my intentions Safety is always a paintballars number one goal.

Get a clue, there's no good reason to exceed 300fps. If you can justify to yourself that there is a reason, you shouldn't be allowed to operate a paintball marker. I play with just a mask, the rest is all bare. i play with camo pants and no shirt. i've been to iraq way too many times to be afraid of a bunch of sissies with paint guns. when im on the field i just like to pretend everyone is a haji and i wanna kill them all. my nickname is ferndog cuz i've lost half my humanity. i'd freeze paintballs if i could get away with it. all of my gear is from Despot's victims. once they get knocked out or in a fight i go in and scavange their remains. My view is this , if u r scared of getting hurt, u shouldnt play. 300 fps scares u? i've had a 12 year old haji point an AK at me and i killed him. I've survived , will u?

If I meet you I am bringing my scuba tank. 10bps may not stop you but I have a gut feeling 30 rounds a second will take some off the zip out of that charge. Paintballs can be frozen if upon request.
