Ion or DM3

Well me and a friend of myne are in a fuss he says an ion is better than a DM3 so which do u say is better some piece of crap plastic gun or a MATRIX

The DM3 is the pinnacle of that version of trixes. Aside from weight and profile there are few (if any) markers truly better.

The Ion is what it is.

the dm3 was the top of its class when it can out. Very high production quality.

ion was 300. sp tried to cut corners everywhere, but the design works and will serve you. Annoying to service though, ecpecially to clean the bolt.

Try and get a 2k4 dm3.. they are really nice. Make sure it has eyes too. :)

Although if your DM3 starts leaking, you'll have to pull out the entire internal assembly and look for the one bad o-ring. My semi-friend had to do that... he was sitting out almost half the day. This was back when I was new to paintball, and anything that cost over $200 was "what the pros used." I was really shocked that this guy had so much trouble with his gun, since he's a paintball guy.
I now, thinking back, doubt he really took care of his gun. When it worked though, it worked well.

Ions... well, they're a budget marker. For the price of a new ion, you can get a used marker that will far surpass it, and need few, if any, upgrades, to give you what you need. Personally, I think the Ion is the alternative to the used market.

All DM3's have eyes. On the GenE's eyes were optional.

Marker choice is a personal choice. Shoot what you like. ION vrs DM3 for me they both suck, but if I had to choose I'd suppose the dye marker might be of a higher quality.

get the ion, its sooo freaking awesome, its as fast as anything, and you can change the bodies on it! omg omg i got 2 1/2 cases off mine! then from 152 yards away, i shot someone in the pinky finger they left hanging out of their bunker! this gat is the best! i give it a rating of 10+ 10+ 10+

.....no seriously though, get the matrix. the ion does not even compare to the matrix. it is a MUCH higher quality marker that will keep serving and competing long after ions have been replaced.
ion and matrix probably shouldn't even be used in the same sentence. shame on you.

This is what I like.
AGD/MAGS, Fords, Colt firearms, Mountain Dew, Miller High Life, 80's big hair bands, my black labs and pizza. I like these things far more than anything else and to me these things are not open for debate. In my book these are the best thing for my personal happiness. Excuse me if I get excited and promote things that bring me such joy.
