im not into shooting ropes of paintball hoping one will hit ur target. i like to shoot sparingly with the occasional rapid fire

Understand this - in shooting a paintball you are dealing with the balistic arch of that ball at normal ranges - you will have a hard time doing this. Not like a rifle and a few inches at 100 yards. Add to it the inaccuracy of a paintball and you may find you have issues. You are best off going with a scope designed for an air rifle (BB gun, etc). It has to do with the direction of force from an air rifle firing vs a power rifle firing. That being said, the value of a scope in paintball is highly questionable and most people have found that they are great for looks and serve very little function.

I agree with the red dot for target acquisition.

Anything with more than 3.5 magnification and you'll be lucky if the paintball ends up in the FOV.

Scopes.... to each their own. But red dot sights are fine in my book.

Here is the red dot sight I am putting on the marker I am having built...

In my opinion any scope that got diametr lower than 40mm is not for paintball since its gonna be very hard to aim while wearing goggles. Also bigger scope size gives you less blind spots.

42mm is acceptabe while 50mm is optimal.

The only use for scope in paintball is when you are part of some sort scenario game and trying to LOOK like real military.

                              I ment scopes.

And I am sure you will have very hard time aiming with this set-up. Your stock will be in the way of your goggles and scope is too low.

I can show you 3 or 4 of my past mil-sim set-ups. Each had more clearance than yours and still non was comfortable to play.
