Well my first impression is it seems IONish to me. A marker that I also don't care for. To me if your going to buy a tournament marker, buy a tournament marker and not a toy.

meh. it looks kinda... rubbery. Tippmanns always look so durable and this just doesnt. It might be good tho.

Heh, try using "Propane Technology" with this one--you'd end up with a puddle of goo!
            My feedback

Made in USA - it matters.

For the sake of the Tippmann name, I honestly hope these things do well. Given projected pricing, I think they'll sell. The thing is though, Tippmann is doing something that Smart Parts has already done in the Ion, they're taking their name and putting it on a budget priced item that takes advantage of lower cost production methods. Combine that in that they're being sold in just add paint + CO2 package, it just might work. I still see people buying M98's in player packages and they're more expensive.

                Sorta resembles the E-volts look.

Tipmman's new replacement to bolster its share in the rental market? I have noticed some of the fields here have gone with Ion's for rental markers, this is probably Tippmans answer to it.

Very sci-fi and colourful looking. Will probably be fun to play with in a sci-fi scenario setting (reminds of the old indoor laser tag center that opened up in our area so many years ago, with the sci-fi spaceship setting, flouro lights and smoke machines ).

That is incorrect. Dennis Tippmann, Sr. founded Tippmann Sports.

It's just like the automotive industry now. Triumph is to Tippmann as Scion is to Toyota. Best way to put it.

They're basically the same, but not. Just like Dye and Proto, and Cockers and Trilogy's. Same exact concept.

So sure it's "Tippmanns" new marker, but it's really a Triumph marker.

Uglier than what? Any of the Dye Matrixes? Yeah it's silly looking, but so are a bunch of the markers out there. I agree with the other dude though, it looks like a power tool. Maybe they called in Black & Decker to help design it?

                        oooh new thought,

If this thing is the same as an E-98 does that mean you can WAS it? How cool would that be?
