I'd actually have to say that's pretty good out of a 45/3000. I get about 1200 on a good day out of my 68/45. Being a mech, I don't shoot too much, and if that's the only gun I play with during the day (besides pump), half a case is all I need.

If it really is that big of a problem, most fields do all-day-air, so I wouldn't worry about it.

i guess i'm lucky to live in a place that has hpa and all day air. i have 2 90/4500 tanks i use, one is a screw in PMI and the other is an AA armageddon. on both of them i will get a halo and 3 pods. but i'm left at about 1k-2k depending on which mag or valve i use. i have an emag valve, and 3 xvalves i will use on either the emag or my tac. i always fill after a game, wether it's a tourney (been a while) or just open games. even when i used my 2k2 timmy i would get about 1k shots dryfiring at home, but when i go out to play i still fill every game or if i only went a hopper +1 pod i would go 2. i say either get a bigger tank or just fill more often, if you can.

I have a minimag/minimag valve/level X and on a 92/45 I am getting about 1200-1500 shots per tank. But that does include some dry firing in the middle.

Don't get something that's too big. A 68 is the perfect size IMO. You can get used 68/45 crossfires pretty cheap on the classifieds section. I'd go for it. Oh, and please stop bumping threads that are older than the dinosaurs.

                    thats a 9 oz CO2 tank
co2 has this thing called "turnstoliquid", so the actual volume of co2 is quite a bit more than it "holds" in the tank, it just needs room to expand

the 92/4500 Crossfire I had was perfect. Same size as a 68, just a bit fatter.

wow you guys and ur huge tanks, i used a 68/45 on my cocker with a drop, my 45/45 feels perfect on my mag with just a unimount and from my estimates ill get like 700 balls off and thats not too bad for the amount i normaly carry (3-4 pods and the piods only hold 100 cause they are stealth pods which have a liner in them)

Unfortunately for me, most of the fields here don't have all day air. We pay per 1000psi. When you're shooting an Emag, that gets pretty expensive. It always irritated me that I can't shoot past 750psi with my LX. Fortunately for me, I managed to make a trade for a Viking which should make playing less of a price burden.

does anyone use regs for thier mag just to fine tune the air input to save you a little air?

i know the valve is the reg, so there is no way to save air. im jealous my friends ion gets 2000 rounds out of a 48/3000 tank. but ions are for rich kids who have too much paint and money too spend getting thier ion fixed evrey week.
