The difference between this and the eSurance/RAV4 commercials is that the style of those is actually professional looking. Whether you like it or not, it actually looks like it was professionally drawn.
This looks like some dude on his first year of a graphic design course at a technical college made it. Regardless of the fact that the actual movie is pretty stupid (although my paintball games look like that every week, I jump out of a two story window and then a dude with a cloak on gives me a magic box that pwns - if I was the dude with the visor covering my eyes I would've said two things: where the hell is the rest of my mask and BARREL SOCKS ON THIS DUDE ISN'T WEARING A MASK) the style of it is just horrid - it looks really cheap.
Maybe SP just doesn't have that much money to spend on advertising, I don't know. If I'd only vaguely heard of SP, watching that ad would make me think they make cheap, average guns. So maybe it's good advertising
