Phil! I'll never forget those AO-SC meets you put on. They were huge and amazing. Probably the best paintball experiences I've had.
And DDay 2k3 was fun as well.

I found four DVD two disc sets of AOSEII

            TRIVIA CONTEST TIME!!!!!!

The First person that can tell me the name of the Band that played at both AOSE days gets one set.

The first person that can tell me Tom's fathers hobby gets a set.

The first person that can tell me what Tom's first car was gets a set.

The first person that can tell me the Moderator (clue) that traveled the furthest to AOSEII and the two people that traveled the furthest names and where they traveled from gets a set (this is a hard one, three names and I want thier AO names not real names and the country/state they came from)

One prize per winner. Pick your question. Only one at a time. Not going to read through shot gun guesses

            GO...

Haha, I'd answer but I actually have one of those DVD sets!
By the way if anyone is thinking about asking me for answers... no.

First "real" one, technically the second. The first one was NJ-only (maybe a few others) and took place at Top Gun Paintball in Jackson, NJ. We had about 20 people and tested out my pneumatic potato cannon. Its also when Glenn from Top Gun told us the tale of paintball soda, a term which has been oft-repeated at AO meets since :)

Ding Ding Ding!!! Winner. Need your Mailing addy. Of course... I could assume your answering the wrong question... But yea... thats the Band question answer. So your now a winner and disqualified. So we got the last two questions left.

Thanks Thordic! I recalled it being the first EVER that we called an AO meet. I guess thats how I recalled it. Mainly the first one that was sort of opened up to all corners of the fold. Where folks came from all over sort of thing. But yea.. technicaly it was not. I think its remembered that way though because it was the first that Jon and Capo and a bunch of us came too.

Yeah it was definitely the first one that went beyond "local" boundaries that I know of.

                          My favorite "old school" moments:

                          AO-WI Day 2003
                          1. Playing with both the Lions and Pride, with Tom and roughly 30-35 AO guys all day.

                          Shatnerball 2
                          1. The AO caravan.
                          2. Watching Tom fend off the final 2 people on the speedball field and winning points for us.
                          3. Stuck in the huts with AGDJon and the spec ops guys.
                          4. Final battle with LaW running point with the Wang Force flag.
                          5. Playing paintball with my Dad for the first and only time.

                          Shatnerball 3
                          1. Storming Wild Bill's fort with 150 people. After which me and automagfreek (now known as Smoke) left propoganda pictures (about a 100) all over the place. The picture in question was where Bill had been playing on after Doobie shot him out in the speedball match at Shatnerball 2.
                          2. Playing with AGDJon during the final battle on the pyramid field.
                          3. Knocking out the tank Bill was in when he tried to take our fort (which failed miserably I might add ).

                              No... it was not.

Hint... most of the answers exist by using a certain feature often ignored on this board.
