I've tried to replace my 'Mag, but I can't.

Right now I own a Shocker SFT (was to parted out, but I decided I'd fix it up), a Trilogy pump, a System X 'Cocker that will be pump.

...And I still have a 'Mag, it's just at Pneumagger's house right now.
    And no, it's not mech.
Pics will be up after a shipment to Luke and an anno job.
Autocockers are the greatest markers ever made.

Only temporary, get'n a new sig soon.

If I had to replace my mag I would get a Borg or a Viking. Ive heard really good comments about both of those markers. Maybe a Fusion as well. A couple of reasons why I still use a mag is because they look sweet, love how simple it is to take apart and put together, and they seem to fix themselves.

I have an etac with mini morlock board and predator 5 software that will shoot head to head with most electros I've seen so I don't see a need to buy something else. That being said, I also recent;y bought a phantom and love playing with it.

I also have a stock emag and might upgrade it to the xmod sofware or trade it someday,

hmmm....looking at this thread, it seems that the trend that more people are going pump is true.

Anyways, I'm not about to get rid of my mag. It's pretty good. Fast with the spydermag mod, consistant, light, compact, reliable, etc. However, I am looking to add another gat to the gearbag. I'll probably pick up a used Viking, used Borg, DP Fusion, or Invert Mini. I've got time to decide. It's not like I'm out playing everyday here at college. I gotta wait till I go back home so I can get my gear. But there's nothing wrong with trying other things. Mags aren't like the bees knees anymore than any other high end gun. There's other good stuff out there, it's a shame / stupid not to try it just because it's not a mag.

I no longer shoot a mag. I now have:

pps blazer, because after all my testing and owning both mags and pps i think the blazer wins for mechs.

Excal, its a fast reliable electro and it just feels great to shoot.

SL66 because i just traded my viking and i am going to sell it.

A pump cocker just because pump is fun.

Invert mini, im not really sure why i ordered one and im still waiting on it.

Recently ive been trying to pick up some of my favorites of old, which include a unibody ptp mag and a revenge V2 le. I just need to sell the sl66 and ill probably end up with a mag. Mags are great mech and rec guns but i feel that there are many other markers that can out preform/shoot the same for a better price.

                  I dont know of any.
Still have an original Pro/Am and it shoots great. It's even better with the powerfeed adapter I bought for it >12 years ago (holy cow it was that long ago?!) so I don't have 3 pounds of forgrip to heave.

Otherwise, I've always wanted a Sterling...

I still have my UMF framed rt pro as back up but I primarily use my 03 Viking tadao because it is so smooth and wonderful. I have a carter buzzard pump coming along the way so itll be pump mech electro for my line up.

disclaimer. This is what happend with i shot my friends setup with the guns above. yes its s possiblilty that there paint to barrel match wasnt good. i didnt have time to look into that. all i noticed was my gun was more consistant i had more paint on paint shots. so didnt examine their set ups.

Well does anyone know of a way i can mod an xvalve into my proto? I am really down on accuracy...atleast i have ramping so i can always fall back on the spray and pray technique if the mod can't be done..

Nathan you think you could do it for me..you seem to know a lot about the xvalve..

anyway..i got rid of the mag for a cyborg then a dm4, and then my PM6 w/UL frame and i havn't looked back since..

That was my second Mag. The thing is that I just like cockers so much better.
