The Onyx seems really expensive for $1k+ when it's comparable to a Quest and Quests are only like $800.Originally posted by RavishingEddieWhat do you guys think of the Marq6 or the Angel 1?

I don't think I'll ever give up mags completely; currently my only mag is not my #1 gun, but I still bring it out and play a few games with it every once in a while (its a classic RT btw). I'm sort of looking for a Z-grip for it, and when I get that I'll probably play a bit more with it - I just don't like to play with .45 frames anymore. I hope to eventually put together a really really nice pneumag (all black, x valve, chimera frame, 15* foregrip, alpha rail (or similar), pariah/exile body, fireblade trigger, mini maxflo reg, internal air lines for the pneumatics), but I'll just have to get around to that when I have the $$$.
Right now I'm mostly shooting my 05 Angel Speed, I also like cockers (I've got a couple, but I'm working on completely upgrading one, then I'll sell the others).

I shoot a Sonic Borg (which is for sale) and a CCM Series5, but I still have my first mag, a bone stock minimag.

I gave up mags to shoot a timmy, that lasted about three weeks and I got an E-mag with X-mod. I actually find I shoot more accuratly with mech markers than electros(including my mag in mech mode over e-mode) I don't know why. I play alot of tourneys and honestly with the X-mod I my mag is competative with everything else out there.

Well, my main has been an Ego since they first came out in early 05 (before they were "agg"). I had a sponsorship at the time with Planet and got one of the very first Egos. If you take the E2 grips off of it (hehe), it even has '04 stamped on the frame. I've done nothing to this marker other than adjust the velocity. Hell, it still has the original firmware on the board (sub v1.0). It has never let me down when I've needed it the most and will still be my primary marker of choice for the tournament circuit. I've also been kicking around the idea of getting an A1 too (tax return?)
Gibby's DC viking used to be my viking...I miss it, but I love the uniqueness of the karta emag, it really turns a whole lot of heads and starts up alot of interesting conversations about "back in the day".
. Over the summer I picked up a ULE Xvalved mag with a chimera frame with hopes to do a pneumag conversion on it. Unfortunately I've never gotten around to it, and I'm not sure if I will
. So if anyone's interested I may part with it, otherwise its a great marker.
I recently got rid of a milsim tippman for a raced cocker because I love the cocker feel and really regret selling an ecocker I had a few years ago, so far I'm loving every bit of it. Last night I as fortunate to pick up a Revenge V2 for $300. I've dreamed of owning one of these cockers for years and I'm very excited that I FINALLY got my hands on one. I'll probably be buying a pump kit for it (that is if you can pump Revenges...some research I have to do, unless one of you know
) to swap with the pneus for pump play if I feel like it.
Also, at the end of the summer, I received one of the brand new Sterlings from Mark who heads up Arrow-Precision Ltd. in North America. I love it and highly recommend it to anyone interested in pump play. Comes with everything you need to convert it from VSC run on grams and a stick feed to open class with a tank and a hopper. Great little piece, I LOVE this thing.

Alpha! I was beginning to wonder how that Karta was doing. How is she treating you so far? I know what you mean about the uniqueness of it. I miss her too.

I dont know of any.
I have purchased several crapped out spyder type and spyder markers that could not be rebuilt and put back into use. Maybe it is because people pay more for them but I have yet to see hear of or buy a mag that could not VERY easily be put back into service.

I dumped my Automag 2 or 3 years ago. It did not accomplish the tasks I wanted it to. It did not consistently work. It was too inefficient. It was not what I was looking for. Sure, the trigger was unique feeling and not many others had AutoMags, but it just wasn't for me. It is not what I like.
I replaced it with a Viking. Then a Cyborg. Now an RL Timmy.
I like what they gave me. Speed on demand. They are/were light, easy to shoot, efficient and reliable. My RTP was not able to give me such qualities without spending a few hundred on upgrades.
Will I ever go back? Maybe if I have a few extra thousand laying around I'll think about it.Hey, look at that! It's Santa!
