I almost hate to say this, but that's good. My Phoenix body and rail might actually get annoed sometime soon...

Put me on the list. I will have to see some kind of picture of the final product to put a deposit on it. I never buy blind even though it is PTP. Any info on what color anno these will be? I realy like the PTP Tequilla Sunrise anno or that blue/green splash PTP put on some of the newer bodies for the RT that looked sort of like a Species anno on the Timmys.Comment

PTP didn't do the anno and the company they outsourced to doesn't do pb guns anymore (a little too much wine tonight to actually remember the name of the company.) Most likely raw or basic black would be my guess to available colors when the project happens.Originally posted by Dawg047Put me on the list. Also, there hasn't even been mention of a deposit

Cratal,
that's because, unlike others, PTP doesn't want any money until they can actually produce the product.
They are still working through a very large defense related contract at the machine shop.
As a result, I don't think that anything is going to be happening until the end of February; once the defense contract finishes there's another job scheduled to go on, but it won't be using all the shop's capacity; Forest also still has a few design thingies to work through.VENGEANCE PAINTBALL DISTRIBUTORS

Oh, I understand. I was just trying to clarify for Dawg047.

Steve please tell Forest to make sure the new body can take a no rise feedneck like the new one from Redz. I cant use it on the Phoenix body and I really like the feedneck.Originally posted by rabidchihauhauno problems. The Phoenix has a ridge on the top that wont allow it to screw in enough.

I'll second that as I have the same feedneck raw just crying to be used for something (I got it for the same body)

Yes, there were mentions of deposits. I was just saying, I couldn't make a deposit until I see a CAD drawing or prototype which PTP made it sound like a deposit was possible after they decided they would make them, not after a concept or prototype but before. I know about the company that anodized for PTP. I was just suggesting if they still had contacts or leased work out to that company, if they could consider some of their original annodizing that helped set them apart from other companies.Originally posted by tracy_ptpWe will do everything we can to make $200 or even less. I won't know a final cost until design work is done and they figure out how much material for each body. At that point I can give a rough estimate.
The way I figure the best way to do this is once we figure out a final cost and I know I will have a machine available, then I would take deposits of say $50. I would want it to go to our Pay Pal account. Monies would sit there until I pull together enough deposits. If for some reason it didn't happen it would be very easy to return your money, but I'm am hoping to go through with this project.
If you have suggestions for the new body feel free to post. Feedneck is already taken care of. Forest has something very special for that. When it comes to the sear, he is already looking at changing that. Please stay away from electronics, we want to keep the cost down for all of you.
