PTP Micromag Bodies

I am very happy to announce bodies are in the actual design phase!!! Forest did a number of designs back in 2001 for what was going to be a 2003 Micromag, but unfortunately what we considered to be some of our best designs are a little too close to some one of a kind custom bodies that have been done in the past couple years. It just forces us to find something that is even more cutting edge. I will keep you guys posted!!!!

edit: now i just need to get money together for it, and another mag valve . . .

i have not spoken with tracy on how the list will be looked at as far as first on the list gets the first off the line or how it goes so tracy if you wouldnt mind throwing everyone a bone there as to how the list will be looked at cause i know we have serial number whores running around here i might be a touch of one myself anyway great news for us all

just got word from Tracy, the list is the gospel, those on the list get first dibs as long as you get the deposit in and everything you are it after the list runs out it will go by deposit then so get your name on there so you can get ahold of some of the first ones

if you so choose to back out once you see final design and price thats fine this is just a list of whos initally interested, original price was discussed to be sub 200 and i believe thats gonna consist of the body and rail as one design, the list isnt a binding contract who knows i may not like it when its finally available

Based on that, i would like to be placed on the list. I can't commit until I see final design/price, but I am absolutely interested. Thanks.

its good to see somethings dont skulk below the surface forever... looking foward to the new micro... now just to make sure i hold on to enough other parts to complete one of few.. hahaha..

if i understand correctly, finished product may not be here for xmas, but deposits and promises will be made before then....

I can't tell you what it looks like yet because like I said earlier we need to change our originals so they don't look like what others have done. Good news is that I talked with my shop manager and between him and Forest they hope to have this done in time for the X-mas season. When I get more details I will keep you posted. Just to set it straight, I will NOT take any deposits until these are actually going into the machines for production. I WILL be making a limited run!!!! And that number will be based on what I have for Pre-Orders. There will be some extra but probably not a lot. I expect run time on the machines can be 3 to 4 weeks. Depends on the amount of detail (plus I always give room in case a machine goes down) Trust me when I say I do not want your money any sooner than necessary. The deposit is also so I get the commitment from you as a buyer. And I plan on getting pictures of parts while they are running in the machine to post for you guys so you can see progress. I have been working this project for over a year now and I want it to be a reality just like you!! By the way, I think I will keep the first one for myself!!! I think I deserve it.
