UPDATE: Vert Grips- DONE, Breeches - DONE, Front Blocks are being programmed and will start running tomorrow. By Friday Russell will be taking parts to RRFireblade for assembly and testing of the body. He WILL get video of the testing to post. Front blocks will run until completed first the mech micro block, then the e-micro block. ASA's are going to be running out. As long as the testing goes well he will run out the bodies. The programming is all done as you all have seen by video. We did not run them out to ensure when we test them that everything is in it's proper place like for the sear and such.

TIME FRAME: This is what Russell has told me....We have 500 launchers running out on the machine that the bodies need to go on. They should be finished by next week. To finish all parts we are approx. 2 1/2 weeks to complete. Then we will need to give about 2 weeks for beadblast/polish/anno. Parts will then be sent to me to complete the process and ship.

I never ever thought it was going to take this long. Trust me when I say this has been just as frustrating to me as it has been for you. I can only control my part and not the actual machining process. I will update you as I know more info. You can expect at least to see some video of an actual working product by the weekend.
THAT is an outstanding post!! I don't care who you are !!

    umm, ding page 58 !

I'm waiting on 2 different custom guns, one being the Micromag and the best thing to do is just forget about it. I check this thread once or twice a month to get a little update. Just wait it out and when the projects are done it's like a nice birthday present.

No you guys with Raw bodies do not have to wait until the rest is finished. I will have Russell ship me those parts and I will get them shipped off to those that ordered them raw.

While making the front block tonight , i found out the indexing lugs on the breaches are out of round .

It had to be tool flex cutting small radius's in such a hard metal with such a small tool .

The front block is turning out nicely and is perfectly round , it will be done tomorrow afternoon .

Im going to make one of the breaches work so RRF can make it go bang as a prototype but im gona have to remake the breaches .

              Im going home now

You guys take as long as you need. As a grunt that's been through hell in Afghanistan and Iraq I for one don't mind this taking a bit longer to ensure our boys that need weapons to fight with are taken care of.

****, if nothing else you guys get even more respect from me. Keep the faith, you guys didn't have to bend over backwards NEARLY as much as you have for this project. Last I checked there are still orders not paid off.

The naysayers can wait, some people just aren't happy unless they are moaning about something. At least we know you will follow through with the project, which plenty of others have taken many customers monies and ran.

                  Props to the PTP crew!

Now this looks really good!!! Sorry to ask that again but after over 1700 posts sometimes it's easier to to do it: will the bodies come with feednecks and detents? If so, will it be clamping feednecks like that one?

                            Thanks,

                            Mendel.

I would have hoped that it looked a bit more fluid with the breach turned sideways, but form over function is no way to think.

Consider the warp feed. Very unsightly, but works like a champ!

It will be awesome when it is finally finished.
