hmm i hope it's like doc zox's first pic. i just love the valve hanging out of the body look .

and I'm assuming this is not an issue, but will a gasket of some sort be needed to compress the breech? i'm just worrying about it wiggling around in there .

I would hope that it is the same as xmags and that the barrel lines up the breech. Is this correct?

Will these use AGD rail bushings?

The idea is that once you set your new Micro up the way you want it you won't really have to change anything unless you go to a totally new set up. The e-Mag frame will work, but as Engus pointed out we need to cover the top of the battery box and we'll work that out.

mmmmm maybe a new battery pack to go with the new body.

the thing i just realised about the frame rendered pictures is that they are trying to use the back hole as the point of mounting to the frame. If this is correct then you will have the bolt literally just barely be in the body and the valve will not really seal that well... if you notice, the micromag 2000 body has another hole at the back (no idea what for) but that could possibly be the deal with the back hole on this new body.

Tracy is saying that they made it a bolt on replacement setup for the emag frame... forest and russell are saying there will need to be a front block to cover the battery top.

A little bit of difference here? I am not sure how this will all work out, but we will find out.

also... if the detents were threaded enough and countersunk to have them fit in there far enough to not need another breech for warp right... you are going to have trouble installing them tightly because you will only barely be able to get them finger tight seeing as they will be countersunk quite a bit if they also plan to minimize the gap between the breech and the underside

The body will just bolt right up to the frame, the block that they are talking about isnt needed for the body to work but rather cover up the top of the battery pack/frame because if the body isnt long enough the wires running from the battery to the board will be exposed which isnt a good thing.

yea thats what i was talking about though... they didnt want to have to use the spacer... which is good... but we still have to deal with the small piece there on the front which is fine.

works for me... i say extend the front of the body to RT length and then cut it back at an angle towards AM/MM length...

i think it would look pretty good. but thats just me

I have a micro 2000 emag like the pic above and was wondering if I could just change out the upper and have everything match up?

also,a real pic would help, renders are nice but can be made to match anything.
We will be doing away with the spacer, but everything else will still line up. We are working on the battery pack cover.

We really wanted to stay "Micro". We actually have some battery pack options that were developed almost 10 years ago now. A few of you probably saw them back in 2001/2... We have a short production run sitting in the warehouse now. Jeez, and that was probably the only thing we didn't show Looper while he was here today...

I tried to read through everything. Do I need to get on the list to preorder and then Paypal the deposit, or does Paypal'ing the deposit put me on the list? Do we need to specify the color and asa or gaget grip preference now, or will that come later?

                                Thanks, Larry
