AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.
For swapping between warp and vertical modes. Which, honestly I don't see myself doing often, but may do time to time.
Dont forget you would also have to clean the body after everytime you play (unless you are one of those people who dont take care of their markers) so that means complete break down of the body and then reassembled after that.

While true, that does depend on the day of play. I see no point in breaking down that part of the gun unless I take gun hits.
We are getting closer!!! I know I have a bunch of paperwork and emails to deal with. And I haven't had a chance to just sit and do it. I will at least try and deal with emails this afternoon, but the paperwork will have to wait until next week. We (the family) are moving into a new house over the next 4 days. So with all the packing we have been doing, it will be time to move and unpack everything. It's been difficult to keep up. We will not have internet in the new house until Tuesday, so you will not be seeing any posts from me from Friday through Tuesday.
Hey Zoom
Everything is looking good, I cant wait to see it all together.
I have some questions about three different spots on the marker body. Spot # 1 and 2 were flush with the rotating breach face in the concept, 1 is now under the breach and 2 is under the front end. Spot #3 width looks smaller than the angled cut width on the breach.
I know your in a "proofing" stage, I'm trying my hardest not to poke the bear, just cirrus.
So many after market parts are offered in gloss black, will there be an option for gloss black? if not would PTP be willing to do a gloss black option with an added charge?

Original color options: Raw, Gloss black, Dust black, Gloss Gunmetal.
It is probably too far along in the design phases, but I had a thought pertaining to my original comment on the edges of the breach sticking out odd.
If the entire top section of the front block, breach, and the area in front of the sight rail were lowered wouldn't it allow the breach to look more flush when rotated?
The corners would still stick out, but it seems as if the sides of the breach would match the height of the body and front block, and the top (feedneck side) of the breach would be flush against the sides of the body when rotated in the warp position.
It would make it look 100 times better, and it shouldn't upset the lines at all aside from making the beveled edges a bit narrower.
Unless, of course, it takes away too much material for the feedneck threads.
Actually, in that case couldn't you bevel the front and back sides of the breach down to meet the body, like was done on the sides? It would still stick out sideways and it would stand higher than the body in the vert position, but I think it would flow better in the vert and warp positions instead of just the vert position.
