I have some really good pics from 2006 if anyone is interested. The focus isn't that great on some because Tracy was busy gagging and it overrode the autofocus... Thankfully I had an awesome doctor and a medical system that put several hundred thousand dollars behind the effort to save my life (we had been paying insurance premiums for a bunch of years, but I'll tell you that when we needed it - it was there...) now if they could have only have covered a nursemaid(for me)/assistant for Tracy we would have been all set...

WOW!! I hate when life is complicated!!! Because of our recent developments, it has made my job just a wee bit more complicated. I am going to be working on the spreadsheet and add 2 more colums (sear pins and detents) that is going to state what you are supposed to get of either one or both. Please inform me if I make a mistake. Because I have already sorted the paperwork into piles via anno and not in order on the list and I work and have a family on top of it, it is going to take a little bit of time. I hope to have that list up for you guys this weekend.

I appreciate you guys not beating me up on this!! I am doing everything I can!

Tracy - I would like a sear pin instead of detents. Thank you.

Tracy, I know I posted up here about it, but I'll shoot you an email so you can track it there as well.

Had Forest call Russell and with some checking found that Russell made them with a different thread than the RT sear, there was originally a problem because of the amount of space that he had to work with, but eventually thought he had it worked out. The threads were supposed to be the same.

THE SHORTENED RT SEAR PIN WILL NOT WORK.

I wish we could make new pins but can not because the bodies are already threaded for the new pin.
                    Seriously?

This is a joke,... a huge joke.

Who authorizes changes like this? Zoom? PTP is headed by the machinist now?

First the lines of the roto-breech,.... then the front blocks,.... then the detents,.... now the sear pin.

How about the sear? Does a stock sear work or do we need a bushing for that too?

Everyone there at PTP realizes that they just made ANOTHER Mag body with proprietary parts,.. right?

Tracy; your the front person for this,.. so your going to get the blunt part of the blow. What the HELL is going on over there? Speaking on behalf of ONLY myself,... Ive been (for the most part) quiet and calm through this deal,.... but this way of doing business is wrong.

This thread stated wants and needs from the customers,.... guidelines were set to what WE wanted. This body is not what everyone wanted. Why would PTP even let this kind of bull crap go on in their shop?

The sear pin,... how can Zoom screw that up? The call outs for the location are ALL OVER AO!!!!! A little trip through a parts bin and he could have taken measurements off an actual pin.........

Zoom: You need to re-think how you machine parts,.. go back to school or something. Doing a run of front blocks before proto-typing???? Over budgeting on this project is largely now due to you, from what information is made evident here to us.
Sear pins,... not enough room.... not going to buy that bull. Body + rail = measurement.
If you dont have what you need,.. move the sear pin hole UP and add more to the bottom of the body!!!! Looks like you loosely based the location off the old PTP MM body with that custom pin and custom sear. Why would you do that if you knew we DIDNT want that?

A little advice sir,.. the saying goes: "Measure twice,.. cut once" not "Cut 220 times,.. forget to measure"

Tracy. Let me know how much I have skunked into this POS. I already have a buyer. I'm 100% sick of the God Dam BS from this company.

You shouldn't be charging extra for this sear pin, it's not like it's an optional part. It's required or the body is 100% worthless.

Beemer, I'm sorry but I'm calling you out to do something about this so everyone else doesn't get screwed. I'm washing my hands of this whole debacle.

I was confused by this, but indeed it looks like the 2k9MM is a coarse cut versus fine cut threading, not sure how I diddn't notice the difference when I took pix. Guess I wasn't looking much more closely than the size of the pin and length of threading.

As for lines, I've referenced my body with the Blue Cad Drawing I downloaded and have been using as my Ipod welcome screen for the last 16 months. The lines look nearly identical, the only changes that effect everyone seem to be to the rail (the rail now sweeps downward towards the valve at the end), the E-frontblock lip looks different (I liked the blue cad more but I'll live). But the breech has the same lines (we diddn't think of how it'd look turned I guess) and the Detent dimple is now shaped like a "D" instead of an "O".

I for one, being a notoriously disgruntled customer (as stated by Ando) am mostly happy. I hope that in the future my sear pin will be supported, but since it's magnetic (and I assume steel) I'm happy in the knowledge it's unlikely to wear down before anything else does, and is magnetic incase I drop it.

I truly understand!! I have been the coordinator, taking charge. Thinking I could accomplish something extroidinary. In some ways I have and in some ways I have failed. I have been beaten and praised in all the same day. This project has been the most trying, difficult, emotional, and demanding thing I have done. If I could've looked into a crystal ball I probably wouldn't have done it. But I did!! And I will see it to the end, no matter what you guys think of me in the end. I will leave nothing unfinished!!!

Tracy please put me on the list for a sear pin. I will find my own detents, if I have to spend more money on this project I would rather it go to a different company than PTP.

Well I guess I'm forced to get the sear pin, instead of the detents. I will pm you. This does seem really unfair since I could have done nothing to prevent this but yet I have to pay for it. Well if there isn't a sear pin and detents in my 2009 emicromag order I will be disappointed in PTP for not sticking by there word that I will get everything I need to make the gun function.
