I tried several diffrent combinations to get the front block to screw together and it's two stripped holes in waiting. I'm not worried about it, it's a easy fix with the right tools, I just wanted to put a heads up out there to get people to pay close attention to what they were doing.

I guess I'll put a wrench on the detents, close my eyes and hold my breath the give it a turn.

Or better yet what is the thread size on the cocker detent? I'll do a test hole in a piece of scrap..

According to this wicked nifty website:

      Detent threads are "3/8 -24"

Like I said prior, the ones off my GenX-3 work fine with no issues, but it's a tight tollerance.

So if we haven't messaged Tracy about detents and sear pins, which do we get by default? Or are we back to getting both the detents and the sear pin?

I am sorry for the complete confusion on the detents and sear pins. In-house conversations made it to the forum prematurely - and by the time we mentioned a possible issue (a lot of pressure for blow-by-blow updates as we hit the final stretch) it was already resolved. I ended up on the road unexpectedly last week which has delayed things a bit, but I promised that we would take care of everyone.

EVERYONE is getting detents (we anticipated that some people would want to buy upgraded - adjustable - rebuildable, etc., detents, but it was always our intention to supply detents). EVERYONE is also getting a sear pin. Extra sear pins are $8.00 (not $15.00). Anyone that has paid for extra sear pins will be contacted INDIVIDUALLY (hopefully by the end of the weekend) to make any adjustments that we need to. If you have any questions please IM either Tracy or me and we will get it sorted out. If you do not have a dog in this fight please do not post disrespectfully. IM's for legitimate problems, posts for constructive comments - fair enough?

I threaded in a bunch of random detents detents today and most went in easily. One in particular didn't want to start, but it eventually went - and once started threaded fine. I used an open-end wrench with my thumb putting a little pressure on the detent. It's a little deceptive because the top of the detent is in the area where the big radius starts and it almost looks like it is going in at an angle and possibly cross threading.

I was also concerned about potentially stripping threads on the raw parts and Tracy put a note in each box to that effect.

It is definitely a very tight fit with extremely close tolerances, but we went in that direction knowing that things would loosen up over time rather than visa versa...

If you dont test fit the parts & send it to ano & something is wrong will PTP cover the cost of a new ano?

A test fit is always a good idea, but you know my concerns with the raw aluminum. Just be extra careful if you do. I have a machine vice and fixture set up to assemble the ano'd bodies when they get here - it's just a little tough to align and hold everything without having three hands...

you should try something like that from my position........

                                on a related subject,
                                I'm building custom paintball Rifles;
one of them will be a double barreled shooter using 2 of my 3 MicroMag bodies.

but I also have a design of my own, pics posted above...note removable thread block.
I just got an estimate back from a one off/small bactch CNC shop...
now does this bit of price info shed some light on just how far $200.00 goes?

so $1179.00 each for just the body, no thread block.
and gotta make enough to keep the doors open so say 30%
so that means a raw, unfinished body with no threads at the barrel end would cost
                                $1532.70 + shipping each!

                                so any takers?
