I don't mind it being pushed back for whatever reason.... the problem is, the lack of progress reports.

I have pre-paid and tied up my hard-earned cash for over 6 months with the expectation of having it by the end of July.

I don't think it is unreasonable to ask for an expected date or even a month.

And to the "gentlemen" who think my panties are in a bunch and that I lack patience.... you're right... and I don't think I'm the only one who is wanting an update on when we can expect these bodies.

I agree. I love and trust Tracy and Forest and all the guys at PTP, but asking when it's gonna be done a few months after the expected date when ya haven't seen pictures of half finished bodies or anything yet is not by any means "unreasonable" or a sign of "bunched panties". I'm not worried, but an update with a timetable, even an estimated one, would be kinda nice.

come on guys , how many times have we seen this ?? a deadline or timeline is just something to miss , of course you all know this is being done as A FAVOR to the AO community , PTP is not really in the PB buisness much anymore , they only have so many CNC machines & they have contracts to fill , that pay thier wages
I am sure you could probley sell your spot if you wanted , as for me , mine is paid for and I will paitently wait till it comes in the mail , then thank them for a quality product & show off my PTP E Mag

I'm sorry but I don't agree. It's not a FAVOR when you ask for over 200 people to prepay something that's not exactly cheap (nor too expensive in this case as well) and then you set a timeframe, don't get it done when you said it would be done and don't answer a bunch of people asking for a new timeframe. That's not a favor, sorry.

I've been in US twice this year, the last time being last month. I've paid for this four months ago. And I've been promised to have my body on time to bring it back here with me. I have to say that I'm not happy at all and that I really expected something different from PTP. Now it may take a full year untill I get my hands on this body. I know that's solely MY problem but still, that's not nice, sorry to say.

Of course I know Tracy and Forest are honest people, who have been in the business for quite some time already and I'm confident that the product will be great and after all this it will be worth the wait but as I say to my employees (I have an IT consulting company), when your customer asks you when will you get something done, be sincere and say the time you need, even if it's longer than his/hers original expectations. If it takes less time, the customer will be really happy and thankfull, even if it pasts his/hers original expectations. If, in the other hand, you say that you'll do it in less time and then takes longer, be assured that the customer will be pissed. It's all a matter of setting the expectancy accordingly and it's your responsibility to do so.

Anyways, all I'd like to know is when will this come through.

          Agreed.
Stop with the whining people. I've got all the parts ready to put mine together when it arrives.
October will be 4 years I've been patiently waiting for my EM Ripper to show up on my doorstep.
Talk to me when you've been waiting more than months.

I for one don't really care about a date, I know PTP will come through, that's why I put my money down to begin with.

I do however understand mpsd's situation living out of the country and having lost packages sent to him in the past. It would suck to have this item eaten up in shipping.

I hear you guys on the timing issues. It's pretty unfortunate for everyone that is expecting something to happen to find out another actuality. I, however, will be in Baghdad for the foreseeable future...as long as I get to see some pics and come home to one early next year, I'll be good

I'm with Luke, I'm not worried.

But, Tracy did say to feel free to call anytime with questions or concerns.
                    Stay Classy, AO...

                      to all that are posting complaining about missed deadlines;
the machines are busy making parts for grenade launchers
FOR AMERICAN AND CANADIAN TROOPS TO USE IN DEFENSE OF THE NORTH AMERICAN WAY OF LIFE.

if you think that is unreasonable feel free to go to the middle east and fight the war yourself!

as long as there is a solid reason, PTP can take as long as they want.

remember you are waiting for a piece of "SPORTING EQUIPMENT"
in no small way "IT IS A FRACKING TOY!!!"
                      "COWBOY THE FRACK UP!"
I say give the Military Equipment for our fighting personnel top priority!!!

I have 500 grenade launchers on the machines right now but as soon as those are done , this material gets cut up and we start making MicroMags !

Sorry about the delay but the guys fighting in the desert come before the guys fighting on the paintball field , im sure you can understand .

I love how this went to a simple how bout an update poke to a full out flame thread. Maybe everyone on all sides thats posed in the last 3 days needs to grow up (yes, everyone).

I don't see any flaming. No one told the other to go get bent. We're having a discussion.

Its unfortunate that we have to wait longer,......

,... but I think Ive learned that there are people you can trust to get it done,... and theres people you can when it comes to custom work.

Im letting my buddies get their grenade launchers before I get my body,....

,... I personally, see this as a proper way to put things in priority.
