Your first surgeon should lose his license over that. Do you have any recourse through the canadian healthcare system to sue him for damages? It's weird that he wouldn't take your case initially because he'd rather do boob jobs instead. I thought in the canadian system that the boob job surgeons were not allowed to treat government healthcare patients. You can either work as a private physician or a public one, but not both, to prevent exactly this kind of conflict of interest.

I've seen wound care before though. It can look really bad like that for a while. My guess is when you go back in they'll suggest "debriding" the wound. They'll go in and clean it out, remove any dead or infected tissue and sew the rest of it back together again so it's all healthy tissue healing with healthy tissue.
