Would you guy be interested if there is a bulk order of killa detent?

I am thinking of replacing most of the parts on the body anyway.

Sooo... Raw bodies will be shipping within a week (hopefully) and it's just now that they're finding out they have no detent supplier? I thought these would have been ordered a long time ago.

Somewhere amidst this huge thread I got the impression that sear pins were included with the body. It also seemed logical to me to include essential non-standard parts with the price of the body.

If the choice is there then I would rather have a shortened sear pin with my order, than detents.

Because I have plenty of those pins I could shorten myself.
I think I remember Forest posting that they were indeed Shortened RT pins.

With out those sear pins, your marker is a functioning boat anchor correct? The whole beauty of the Mag is almost all of the parts are interchangeable. Why....Why....put out a product that requires non-standard Mag parts to function and not included them with the marker?

You see where I'm going with this and no where in the price listing does it say those items are extra. None of us are mind readers Tracy. Ya, I'm sure this slipped through the cracks but "provide" means many things to many people. To me, it means to come with. If it's just a short standard RT pin then I won't need the pin nor will I need the detents.

I'm done looking at this thread. I been standing by you guys and up for this project from the get go. Even told a few people to get bent, once or twice (which I'm now going to apologize for) SORRY EVERYONE...

If there's anything you need from me, e.g...address, PH# cause you lost them or whatever the excuse this time may be, you can just PM me. I'm not doing the leg work.

              EDIT:

Anyone want to buy a spot.

Im not diggin on any other designers here but point out one of them that has done that. either way if you want to be a PTP customer or not take it elsewhere because its not helping here.

You guys may make good paintball products (and whatever else you make), but your business acumen appears to be quite lacking.
You putze stay out of the thread. You are not A CUSTOMER. THEY ARE NOT makeing any MONEY. They are losing. What part did you miss. Is this project a SNAFU? No doubt. If you want START your own thread about it and attack Forest and Zoom and see how THAT goes.

Forced..............GIVE ME a break. It was a prepay for a CUSTOM DESIGN BY AO members with their feed back all along the way. TRACY Forest and Zoom are HERE all along the way.
Its not even close to the Gforce CF. In case you missed it they are here for US.

You seem like a smart guy, you should know not to piss off a fiesty gal like Tracy.

I dont see no special treatment. The customers[not YOU] speak and Tracy[PTP] listens.

From custom shop (punisher) to even smart part, so no PTP is not getting special treatment, i am just glad they produced a quality body, in the color i want, for cheap.

I appreciate that people on both sides of this are getting frustrated and pissy. It's been going on a for a long time as evidenced by the nearly 200 page thread. That said, while I consider myself someone with "half a brain," ( or even a whole one. ), I also have no f'ing idea what I am actually getting in my box at this point, and worse, what special parts I am going to need to complete this project. I don't live on AO and this thread has been extremely hard to keep up with. Purchasers (and random people who feel the need to turd up the thread despite not being remotely involved) are confusing the hell out of everything with speculation, requests for changes, and general thread nonsense, and it hasn't been very clear on the PTP side (and this is not the first time) what is "provided" and what is "offered" (no they are not the same). Definitely not trying to throw Tracy under the bus here because I know she's been busting her *** on this project for us. At the same time "sourcing" parts without procuring them when you have paid orders in hand was probably not a good plan. I highly doubt a big box of cocker detents is going to take up that much inventory space when you're still finding boxes of stuff from the last decade kicking around the shop.

I'm really torn...on the one hand, I just want to get my package, open it up, breathe a sigh of relief that it's here and revel in the micro-awesomeness. On the other hand, I'm seriously annoyed with the "I have altered the deal, pray I don't alter it further" situation, not to mention now having to go out and buy parts that I could have ordered umpteen times over the past two years when I was already going to be paying for shipping. I do not have time to read through 200 pages of crap again and hope that I get the latest and greatest information.

                  For my own clarification:
                  - We are getting the large components we ordered (body, front adapter, and optional parts including foregrips, barrels, other front adapters, etc)
                  - We are getting a basic tube feedneck
                  - We are getting either a custom length sear pin OR two basic low profile detents
                  - We need to provide: grip frame, frame/valve screws, sear, valve, air source adapter and connection to valve, and either detents or a sear depending on what we chose?

Am I missing anything?? Most importantly, am I missing any CRITICAL, CUSTOM pieces that are going to be needed to assemble a working marker? It's probably already buried in this thread somewhere, but can someone (FROM PTP) provide the clearance dimensions on the detent? Finally, what is the best way to get Tracy the info on which options we want, post? PM? email?

I have a sear pin waiting to be shortened. So if someone could come on and tell us the exact length it needs to be that would be great. I would like the detents for my gloss black emicro mag order if possible. Thanks Tracy and Gl

body, breech, front piece(either mech or emag), feed tube, screws to put it together and any extras you ordered or parts you sent in. We were going to supply detents we did say that and then in turned around and made it 2 detents. Forest had it set to go and the business is gone. We did not order them ahead of time because until the body is made and we can test them it's best not to buy in a bunch of parts that won't work. The sear pin was always a if you wanted to purchase. Forest did not use a good choice of words.

Right now I have been flooded with emails and such and will respond. Give me a chance to find my detents so I can handle everything.

On a good note. I have the raw bodies and parts for my raw guys. with the exception of one who wanted his parts polished. All the rest will be shipping tomorrow. For you guys if I have to mail the detents and/or sear pin when I sort this out I will.

So now we need to provide our own sear pin or pony up more $$$ to buy one? Why dont you just wrap the bodies in plastic wrap & ship them that way- save the cost of 200 boxes. You never mentioned at all that these were to be delivered in boxes.

                        teufelhunden is 100% right.
