I guess I'll need one of the sears as well, but I'll wait till we get the "ok" again from Tracy...

    Thanks!

guys, I think that you have kind of over reacted to the whole sear pin thing.

the error that happened was just simply copying down the wrong thread size.

the old pins were 1/4" 24 UNF thread
the new pins were made with 1/4" 20 NC thread

so a very easy mistake to make; I have spoken with Tracy on the phone and all will be made right.

      BUT...

even if PTP was to do nothing; there is a very simple solution and it would cost the end user less than $0.50 total.

put your sear with bushing in place
insert 1/8" steel dowel pin available at any hardware store for around $0.02 each
install 1/4" 20 socket head cap screw to make sure the pin doesn't come out, shcs available at any hardware store for around $0.25 each

      optional but recommended:
drill a 1/16" hole in the center of the sear pin's seat so that you can use a pin to knock the installed pin back out of the body.

      see diagram below:

Good solution. I'm not drilling my anno'ed body though. Maybe PTP could drill that pin hole for us prior to anodizing, and perhaps even provide the .50 worth of hardware to boot?

Not likely if they've already shipped to anno or to Tracy.

Plus there's a reasonable chance that may require a new mount for the CnC and a new program.

They would also have to be shipped from Maine back to Florida for milling and then back to Maine for assembly and pairing with the appropriate lowers and such

Where are you guys sending the bodies to be annoed? I have my emsg lowers I would like to get match annoed flat black. Is it too late to send them in? Or can you recommend someone for anodizing so I can have them in flat black is it will match.

I just went to Action Village and spoke to KIM

                    http://www.actionvillage.com/011-311-0028

Purchased two sets of Black Killa detents and price matched ANS. Not only did they price match, but they beat it by some change as well. Paid about $23 a set.

If this is a good deal, you might look in this direction.

Just got my package about ten minutes ago, got a few questions.

Anyone besides me see a misalignment on the rail and front block?
The first two screws on either side will start but the 3rd and 4th are a no go. Looks like the 4 through holes need to be drilled larger to compensate.

Dentets don't thread in, they are either the wrong thread or the heads need ground to fit recess. I haven't checked the threads with a thread guage so I'm not sure what the exact problem is.

I thought tee shirts were included for those that paid in full at the time it was offered?

                      Not griping, just inquiring..

Did you receive detents with the body? They should be Cocker threaded (although that would be an awesome anti-mistake in making them angel).

                          The front block... ugh...

The detents came with my parts; otherwise I wouldn't have said anything.

The issues (for me) probably are not a big deal; I posted that for any over zealous people that are excited about assembling their marker. The front block misalignment will be easy to over look and strip the threads. I was being very cautious because I noticed there wasn't a chamfer on the holes which can cause mis-threading if you are not careful.

Luke, you sure that set of bodies weren't some of the blem bodies for you to play with?

I remember seeing a box when I was at the shop and Zoom said it was going to you for you to test some mods on.
