            That's just sad...

The worst part is the fact that her last post here was 2 months ago while there are still people waiting for the bodies, parts or for a refund for their money on parts that were wrongly charged.

I have to say that this was a real lesson to me regarding pre-orders. Even though I participated in good ones (the VER frame, for example), this whole experience teached me to stay away from these businesses, even if the discount offered is really big on that phase. I'm so glad I didn't buy a spot on Metadyne's pump pre-order right now... And Metadyne is a company as well known and as "big" as PTP so this really shows that this isn't an isolated case.

Wow I hate being lumped into that category especially with the parts I would like to market. I may need to reevaluate my focus

Luke, please don't get me wrong here. As I said, I did have some very good pre-order experiences. The only thing that I'm saying is that I don't intend to enter in new pre-orders myself, due to more than one example of great companies that failed to deliver.

Although I've yet to do some business with you (which I would for sure), I'd either buy something you have in stock or hire a custom service from you (I would totally do it). The only thing that I don't want to do is to put money into something that will then be fabricated in larger scale and then wait untill all X hundred units are ready to be shipped to X hundred customers. And then again, that's me and that has nothing to do about the company who is offering the pre-order.

I paid in full and never received anything. After trying to chase it down with Tracy for a few months I'm just giving it up; I don't have time to deal with this BS. It's like pulling teeth with her.

She says she shipped it to my old work address (btw, nobody bothered to check if the address has changed since it's been so long since pre-order started, but I kept my paypal shipping address updated).
I am very good friends with my old boss and workmates and we keep in touch, so I went and checked and noone knows anything about any shipments for me.

I told Tracy about it and she promised to send me my body (I said I will pay for Fedex), that was the last I heard from her, it was over a month ago. So I guess we are done? - as in, I've been screwed...

the moral of this story is - Pre-orders are hard. I've done a few for the business I'm in (custom prints), and I know that it takes a lot of work, patience and focus. It's not an excuse for failing like this, though.

                    Tracy is busy...

I called and a guy answered saying that Tracy is working on the paintball project and a military contract. I think we know who won. He also said that they are waiting for them to come back from the anodizer.

Glad I didn't pay the deposit when I was on the list.

Anyone have a gloss black that they want to sell?

                        thanks luke!

was able to assemble my marker for the first time after, what...2.5 years? i recommend anyone who is having trouble with classic valves to luke, the thought of trying to tune a ult on/off whiling hammering in a valve just wasn't pleasing. and the anodizing is still intact!
