    Well:

    1) Will it work? (seems stupid to ask, but pertinent considering everything that's happened...)
    2) Does one or both require modification to the body? If so, what? (I can't imagine .05" makes a huge difference, but I could be wrong)
    3) Cost?

Yah....kinda looks like they have written everyone off and don't care about the product. I haven't said much but been thinking it for quite some time now.

I would be fine with either of the options put forward so far as long as they work... And if they both work... I think I'd go with the simple flat washer. What is the reason for the extra stepping on the spacer that Hill shows?

Frankly I'm interested in the SS washer that alooney is handling. The other option is nice but cheaper and faster to come up with goes a long way when I want more than one.

          SS washer for me boys.

Alooney did they give you a price idea and how many you would need to buy?

I think the reason for the stepping on the washer is to keep the spring stable. The OD of the main spring is about 0.84". I agree that the flat washer is the easiest and quickest way to solve the problem. The specs of my proposed washer should do the job.

Here is the quote, not looking to make any money, just gonna need some help raising the money to get these made. I was thinking 500 washers should cover everyone with some to spare. At 0.48 wea are looking at a total of about $240.

I'll throw in the first $25, if I can get 10 more guys to throw down $25 a piece we'll get these made. We'll split the washers up equally 500/11 = ~45 washers a piece, then anyone who gets in can distribute them as they want.

If you want to get in let me know by PM and I'll give you my paypal. Let me know what you guys think.

            UPDATE
Not enough interest, looking for alternate/cheaper source.

I'm still waiting for someone to answer my question. Is that a drop-in part or will I have to mill the body and/or breach in any way?

              Thanks.

Thank you so much. Now the last question. Can't I just usa a regular AGD washer then?

Are you telling me that there's no .20 cent common hardware washer from ACE, Depot or Lowes that will work with a little modding via a dermal?

The AGD washer OD is way to small, I didnt get a measurement but it will not work in the MM 2K9 body. I wish it was that simple, cause we wouldnt be having this conversation right now.

Ando do a little leg work and you will find out that the answer is no. and remember you do the inner diameter a little off and you screw up your bolt and breech......

Summer is over and I still have no T-shirt.

I would like a SS washer too.

Why are we only looking at the 500 quantity? Did PTP sell more than 200 bodies? I would be in on the bulk purchase, but supply would be too high for the headache of trying to resell 40 of them.

Bottomline...I want a washer so I will continue to watch the posts and if I need to fill a spot I will. However, I think we could find 20 people to pay $11 for 10 washers.

I appreciate all the work everyone is doing. Wish PTP would have offered the solution to save their reputation.

I would be willing to split a spot with someone as well. This body just keeps nickel and diming me.

I just want 3 or 4 but not 40 to resell. So I guess if it comes down to it I will go in with someone else as well.
