    Number 9

I am number 9 but since I sent a frame for it to be custom fit Zap is getting out the non custom jobs first is my understanding. So if you sent in a frame to have him fit it I think that puts you at the end of the line no matter what your number was.

Fittings came this evening. Got them all modded and ready to go. I have to shave about .025" off the threaded side because they were a bit too long. They were modified for all 40 orders.

Everything is done but I still need to get it all packed up for shipping. I have some stuff going on tomorrow and I'm not sure I will be able to ship them. If I can't get the rest out tomorrow, Thurs for sure. I'll post when they go out.

Yes, I pushed the installs to the back of the line. Just more efficient that way. I wanted to work on them this last weekend while waiting for the fittings but I was miserably sick and had to get some rest. They wont take long and I should be able to get them done by the weekend. Shooting for Saturday shipping on those.

It might be close for a few but everyone should receive their order before X-mas! Except for one last international order that might come a day or two late. Estimate for intl. delivery is 6-10 days. Lets hope it gets there in 6! But past experience with Canada Post says it will probably be late.

Stayed up too late and time for bed. Next update after shipping.

            Your Service

Zap I just want to say that your service is the way it ought to be. Realistic deadlines and great communication all along the way.

I am very happy I am in on this order

Heading to the P.O. in a few minutes.

ALL orders shipped except the following.

                9 - install
                25 - install
31 - install, waiting on frame
32 - install, waiting on frame
35 - waiting on shipping info

I won't do any further updates here. I will finish up thru email.

Thanks for the orders everyone! My wife also says to thank you for the new tires! We would have been running all winter on bald tires without your help and we really appreciate the business.

My schedule is pretty full for January. I have jury duty and some other projects to work on in the shop. I'll probably start round 3 in Feb.

Thanks again! If you have any questions feel free to contact me.

Hey Zap, I've got Daze's #35. Since you didn't ship yet, he should be getting you the info to ship it to KY.

If not I can as well, just didn't want to flood your email with different info.

I didn't realized there were that many parts to the cheater.

Mine (#10) arrived today in the UK, thanks for the fast international shipping Zap

I'm having some install problems when fitting it into a RPG Triton frame.

The Cheater itself works fine off-gun, as does the LPR (Palmers Micro Rock), however when installed in the frame, as soon as I gas things up the LP hose blows off either the LPR or cheater, regardless of how low the LPR is set.

I've got a feeling it might be to do with the position of the cheater itself, with it perhaps sitting back slightly too far, which means the sear jams on the piston when gassed up.

Anyone else encounter this or have any suggestions? Thanks.

I'd try a new piece of micro line. I've always replaced or recut the line if it's blown off already.

Verify that the Rock is not jammed. They are all "new in box" and not tested (tested at the factory?). You should be able to turn it all the way down so that there is no flow coming out. The hose blowing off is more or less an over pressure safety feature. If the hose is blowing off then it is being over pressured so I am guessing the rocks valve seat is jammed with some crud. The valve seat is under the plated fitting at the bottom of the regulator. Take it it off and clean the rubber seal inside there. Also check the valve pin for damage the the sealing face.
