do you have cam software to generate code off a 3d model? if not i can help, I'll just need to know the control type etc.. p.m. me with details. i also have a couple 3d models in the works but they'll need to be approved by everyone first. I also have been machining for 10 + yrs.
and am currently a cad/cam engineer and cnc dept. supervisor. but my shop is so busy we dont have any open machines to do side work at the moment.i've had the material and programs to make trigger frames for over 2 months. if you do a search theres a trigger frame simulation i did on here somewhere.

I'm not here to bash anyone.

But we still haven't seen examples of your work, nor seen all the positive feedback from your many ebay sales.

And for the record, I've been a tool & die maker for 28 years, MasterCam and BobCad experience, 3D modeling, blah blah blah. I know how it goes...

and to answer the question how do i know what i can charge for milling a body....easy!!!!
Just do the math!!!!!LOL 60 IPM running .531 degrees stepover... Trust me guys i have been in the game for years, i know how to do this.
I asked about the estimated milling time, Still, with no files in house, and no sluggo's on hand, how can you...nevermind.

I hope you get the sluggo's turned, and machine some nice bodies up. You might as well consider doing rails as well, and create a "package deal"

One thought, though. Sluggo's may be a hard sell due to the fact that most folks who want one will get them through the pre-order that's happening right now. Hmmm, raw rail blanks

You know, it may be entirely possible the guy used the publicly available sluggo body files to make his slug bodies and the fixtures to mill slug bodies.

I talked to deadly wind today and he is going to see if i can buy the karta design to use on my orginal unibody blanks.....so i might make unibody kartas. I dont know yet.

Pics will follow when i get some parts done.

I posted this just to let everyone know i have a machine and i can do the slugs.....only thing is we need to come up with a killer design.

                I will keep everyone posted.
