it pretty much works the same way as what youre saying, with a sliding trap door over the feed hole, but that sliding piece of metal is the barrel. contrary to popular belief, it actually works pretty well. its reliable (to me it has been). few moving parts=less problems. every once in a while i get a leak, but its fixable. it sounds wierd when you shoot, sort of like a wet fart as some of my friends call it. now its just my backup gun so when i dont have HPA for my mag i just use CO2 with my nova. like someone said, its more of a novelty than a competition piece, but i like it. ive only seen one in the 4 years ive been playing, and its mine!
