I did notice that I had more and more missed shots as the battery ran down. On a freshly charged battery I had no problems. Not sure how much pressure I have but I am running a NitroDuck Plasma 3K and I have done 17 BPS (barely) with an egg.

What, if any, advantages does the blue bumper give over the clear?

XMOD is just software and since the Dwell is for the electronic solenoid and not the valve like most guns there is absolutely no affect on air consumption.

OK, Sunday I used the Xmag for the first time with the Xmod. Paul you are chopping right? before you get too mad did you try diff paint? My mag has has chopped maybe 5 balls the entire time I have owned it minus the times I left the eye turned off (level ten isnt adjusted worth *&^*$ . Anyway I tried it this weekend and it was like a spray paint can. Liquid just shooten out of the barrel. After a morning of cursing and pouting (my Nerve did the same damn thing that day) I decided to try diff paint. Threw some EVIL in it and BAM instant death dealer. I dont know if the settings or speed maybe made it more sensitive to the paint or maybe it changed the eye sensitivity who knows but I was about to have a break down till I decided to try something simple and change paint.

ANyway, I am sending the X back to AGD to have it freshened up and the level 10 adjusted. I need to reflash the old prog in till I get it back. Can someone send me a copy of the 3.2 prog please. I want to get the gun sent out ASAP so I can get it back reflash the Xmod and go ruin peoples day with it!

Well I played this weekend and I must say the software worked great, but I was only able to push it to 17bps because I was chopping like mad probably the same way Lorne was. I would chop about every 10th ball running at 18bps but when I dropped it to 16bps I could put a hopper or two though it without chopping. I think it is an issue of my hopper not feeding fast enough I'm only using a standard Halo. I should have some videos to post later this week or this weekend

i put paint thru mine and ran out of air before i chopped anything..i had it at 15,,then 17...i went full auto..nxk..hyper/hybrid..and no chop..but my halo has an s4 kit and a cheetah in it..and my warp has the 12v mod..i was like a giddy little kid..its so fun..lol..i have yet to chop..thanks tuna for that one..

On Saturday the rain cleared enough for me to test the new software.

Setup: x-mag newer style
Mod: Semi
ROF: 16
Ace: on
Delay: 1-5
Fix: 40-54
Dwell: 12-15
Psi input: 850 from pure energy preset

Worked great in all modes but I was getting the dreaded trigger bounce at fast trigger pulls in semi mode no matter how high I set the fix. Next I tested its full auto capabilities, worked with no misses or breaks at 15, 16, and 17 bps. However at 18 bps I started getting breaks so upped the delay to 5 and changed the batteries in my halo b and 18 bps was achieved no problems. I then upped the bps to 20 and shot a string of 30-40 shots before I broke a ball in my loader. Cleaned every thing out which took about 45 min, I then tried 20 bps and broke my halo drive cone.

After that I decided to work on my trigger bounce issues. I did the solenoid wiring test as described in the user guide and was able to get bounce in both semi and release modes. Keep in mind I never had bounce problems with agd 3.2 software with a correctly adjusted trigger. However when I switched to my crossfire preset tank the problem seamed to go away. Pretty sure the output pressure it the same so not really sure what the deal is there especially since it should be a solenoid issue. Any thoughts? Its also worth noting that I ran my battery dry doing all my testing, but I never got a low battery message.

Overall I am very impressed with the software, great job lorne! I only see a couple small kinks that need to be worked out (and it might be on my end).

Great to hear you had good results. I feel your pain with the broken ball in the loader. The same thing happened to me Sunday. I started carrying a cordless screwdriver with me for the dedicated purpose of taking my Halo apart.

It seems that we are having much better results with the higher ROF using the ACE. Now that I am comfortable that I have the Xmag all set, Im going to concentrate on the E-tac. Im curious to see how fast I can get it to shoot with just the lvl10 and no eye system.

Also here something interesting that I have suspected but now can confirm.

The solenoid plunger length is very important. I have a gun here with 2.4 on it that works with the solenoid plunger that is set as short as it can go. I put 3.2 and Xmod on it, and it didnt work with either one. I adjusted the length to spec and it worked much better. The still seemed a little weak, so I lengthened that adjustment by about half a turn, which the noid seemed to like very much.

So if you are having issues getting the gun to fire in E, check that adjustment.

The way my low battery message works is it will only tell you low batt either when you turn the gun on or if you try to enter the menus. It does not flash during normal operation like other software virsions have done.

Here's another test for all of you to try:
Air up your gun and set it to full auto. then pull the trigger back in e mode harder than you would normally pull but not too hard. (ROF really doesn't matter) let the gun shoot and if you can feel any trigger movement you need to adjust your trigger rod. I was having mad and I mean MAD bouncing problems until I did that.

try the test described above let me know what the results are because if one tank had more pressure it would bounce more depending on the tank that's about the only thing I can think of as for why a tank would affect anything. I'll keep thinking about it though as I wait for your response.

Hey i did notice that my gun started to bounce like mad also it is cause of the low battery after it is charged fully that problem goes away

I have a question. When I changed the mode to PR-T I was able to turn the Solenoid off by pressing the trigger. But I Cannot seem to turn it back on in PR-T mode. Pressing the trigger with that mode displayed exits the menu.
