Mud or what you call it.

So lets see some pictures of your trucks or what ever in the mud tub. This weekend I'm going out to my buddies farm to try to get his powerstroke stuck in fields. I might take the 4X2 Dodge out there to see how bad I can get her stuck.

Stories are great behind them as well.

No pic, but I buried one of the rear tires on my 2WD Durango in a muddy field behind my uncle's barn . We were crow hunting, or driving to where we get out and walk to where we hunt. I should have stayed on the gravel, but I drove through the field I decided to have some fun before getting where I needed to go and got stuck then had to get towed out by tractor It was awesome

      Yeee-haw

Too many stories for the jeep but the truck just once. Dont actually have any pictures of getting stuck just the aftermath.

In the truck I convinced my friend to drive his f150 through with some A/Ts and open diff. Got stuck so I decided I would try it and if made it though I would pull him out. My truck has procomp m/ts and a rear locker. Well I got stuck so I had my friend with his jeep winch us out.

      It was fun!

Then of course my friend got his powerstroke 7.3l f250 buried to the doors in a farmers field. We had to get the guy to pull him out with a tractor because 2 dodge cummins couldnt pull him out.

I was never actually stuck in the jeep in any of these pictures but have got stuck before. Just never got to take a picture of it .

That red mud is some of the nastiest stuff ive ever been through. My truck still isnt clean and it took me forever to get it off the jeep all the way. It hardly comes off when you pressure wash it. Moral of the story im never going through that pit again. :-/

What is the appeal of mudding? I just don't get it, I don't like washing my car after normal use much less after its been caked with mud...though the look on the carwash employees face would be nice. Especially one of the 10 dollar washes no matter size or condition.

Its to prove that the thousands of dollars that we throw into our trucks and SUV's mean something. Let alone its a boyhood game of who's is better. Who says you got to wash your truck off after a day in the mud? I pull into work or drill with my red truck looking like a brown truck. The faces I get for it are priceless. As for car washes I've got a couple evil stares, more so with the F550 work truck when I got that stuck at the local nursery with 4 trees in the back. Everyone has their own opinion why they do it, that ^^^ up there is why I do it, just for kicks you know.

Personally, I hate mud. It's nasty stuff and all it does it cause crap to break. But, the ex GF loved it, so here is my Jeep at Jeep Fest in 2006.

It took me a year to get all the mud from under it. Then at Jeep Fest this past year, she took it through the hole again and I think trashed my clutch. It's been sitting until I can take a look at it.

Yeah, I got an Xterra as well. There are no mud pics of it as it avoids mud as much as possible.

The motto so far for both vehicles...

                            Wheel it.
                            Break it.
                            Upgrade it.
                            Repeat.
