So if I agree that the 3 main points are valid, but feel that this entire situation is embarrassing, idiotic, and childish what should I vote?

I feel the same way. Fighting for common sense (which is what these 3 points are) is depressing, but I seem to find myself doing it increasingly often, both here and elsewhere. I guess it's true what they say that common sense isn't very common.

It's not pretty much, it's quite direct.

Here we have a user not only flaming, but bragging about flaming, and the moderators couldn't care less. If that's not about the most solid argument for point #2 that there could be, than I don't know what is. Thanks again!

Oh, and when I was checking the poll, the top and bottom options were 9-2 respectively, then 16-19, and now 19-20. Funny how 17 naysayers all came on line seemingly at once.

If you have an issue with a post, any post, hit the report button. If people did that for posts with problems, then things would probably be much more consistent. Just like cops don't have little speed monitors in our car reporting back to them, the mods don't look at every post, every user title, or whatever.

And if you're going to spin up a conspiracy theory, you should've clicked off the option for the poll whereby one can see who has voted for what option.

I like paintball guns, and especially automags because they are an ingenious design in my opinion.

With whatever knowledge I have I will try to help those on AO who are having problems with their markers because seeing more automags on the field is great.

I will do my best to be a helpful, polite, contributing member to AO so I can see more automgs on the field because a closet is no place for an automag.

If someone insults/flames/berates me, I will do my best to handle it gracefully, because they also shoot an automag (even if they don't admit it) and that makes them slightly more tolerable.

It means a post that the reporter finds offensive will be brought to the mods attention. Ball is then in their court and up to their discretion.

Right, and the chances of the mods taking action against someone for flaming is not likely when mods have expressed the fact they want the person being flamed banned. If PixelGuru flamed you and admitted it he'd be banned. The other way around is fine. Something is wrong with that.

I'm sorry I must have missed the "please flame me" sign that PixelGuru posted. Though it is starting to become really obvious that the Mods only care when someone they like is flamed. Which is quite sad.

You can "poll" all you want, you can gripe all you want. You can draft all the "iron-clad policies" you want - The Mods/Admin don't have to change a thing, nor do they have to adopt any new policies if they choose not to...

They are going to do what they want, to whomever they want and whenever they want; or NOT do what they should, to whom they should and when they should...and apparently with impunity.

So I suggest you all stop whining about it and move on before they start swinging that stick just a little bit wider and a little bit harder...

Beemer is trying to be all big and ban everybody and no one likes it. Then I call him on it and he closes the thread. Then now you cant post a link to www.pblegion.com anymore apparently. Why are you worried, that people will like it better, because we have fun respect each other, and no mods that like to give the ban stick any time they can?
If I am wrong beemer or any other mod either talk about in on this or send me a pm but I can tell you I am one of many. I wasn't even going to say anything but its bull how anyone who talks out gets baned. Are you trying to run a commonest environment ? So instead of baning more people or closing the thread finally address to everyone why are you doing this. Are you try to weed out the people? What is it? If you are not man enough to do that in front of all of these people then just pm me.
