BigE did NOT own PBL, and apparently he went home to his own site. Home is always more comfy, right?

Ok so here is what got this whole thing started with me.....
I started a thread after having mine edetied/deleted
How hard should it be to sell multiple item on PBL???
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
OK so I want to know WTF is going on? What's so hard about selling a few things in the dealer section. My thread was edited and the info I worked on removed. I was pretty darn mad. Yes I admit I didn't read the rules and it was my fault. But I didn't even get a you need to read the rules and fix your thread or delete it according to the rules. Nope it was just GONE. . . . . I actually received a PM and who ever was hiding under the LEGIONNAIRE name was nice enuff to copy my thread contents and return them to me. I was like OK its no big deal. Till I replied and this is how it went.......

Thanks,
Cyberave68Originally posted by LegionnaireBe advised, the BST forum is not for dealer type threads. Those posting multiples of new gear, kits, etc in there have had their posts closed/removed/moved.
If a complaint is received, your post in there will be closed as well. If other dealers post in there due to your thread, they will all be closed.
A thread that is selling only a couple of an item is allowed though. It cannot be known how many you have for sale unless you make it apparent.Originally posted by cyberave68Oh thats interesting? I'm not a big time seller so i dont have a shop i work out of, nor do i have a web site? How would i go about selling multiple items if i cant post in either section????So what the hell am I going to do now sell 1 kit at a time????Originally posted by LegionnaireYou would either need to get a website or a shop, or choose not to post multiple items. Websites are fairly cheap these days. If you are serious about selling multiple items, look into getting a website.
Well, after checking into a few things I have found that i am not the only one in violation of the rules. I think the Dealer section rules are more of a hindrance than anything else. There needs to be a "OR" if approved by "insert mod's name here" to sell in the dealers section. I don't have the money to set up a web site. I know the URL isn't anything but to pay JOE BLOW to build a site for me, have another email account that I have to check up on all the time, site maintenance and all that other stuff isn't worth the hassle for what LITTLE money I make to afford something like that. Or better yet as I work out of my house and use my personal cell phone as little as possible why would I list it for people to call me all the time. I am not fortunate enuff to make that much money from my parts to not worry about having a REAL job that pays my REAL bills. Where would I go to have a shop, or better yet have a phone for people to contact me all the time that i wouldn't have enuff time to do any work? I answer all my PM's and my AOL mail pretty often, and i don't mind doing it. But to say I cant sell in the dealer forum because of the rules is fine if I don't meet them, but to turn around and tell me I cant sell in the B/S/T section cause it for selling only 1-2 different items not multiples of the same thing is telling me i cant sell here. that to me is counter productive to your site. i think i bring a little traffic to this site with the little i sell and the things i do and say. but to be in accordance with the rules i guess i will prolly have to just stay over on AO where at least I am allowed to sell my non-dealer items and help out there members.
If the rules are to be applied equally, then please look into the above and deal with them the same as you did me. All of which have existed long before I started my thread.
I will make sure I sell my kits elsewhere from now on.
Sorry I'll end my rant here,
Cyberave68
P. S. And where is BIgE lately i cant get him on PM here,
Guess I'll try AO then maybe he'll answer there....Last edited by cyberave68; 02-12-2008, 09:28 PM.Zero Gravity Customs

I highlighted some key point in red...Originally posted by cyberave68Yes I admit I didn't read the
rules and it was my fault. But I didn't even get a you need to read the
rules and fix your thread or delete it according to the rules. Nope it
was just GONE. . . . . I actually received a PM and who ever was hiding
under the LEGIONNAIRE name was nice enuff to copy my thread contents
and return them to me. I was like OK its no big deal. Till I replied
and this is how it went.....
I also wasnt asking for special preference or anything, but more of an
amendment. Something like a certian mod who is designated to watch over
and aprove non-web site dealers to ba able to sell with great standings
in the communities....
From there is where things went wrong IMHO. To be able to sell in the
dealers forum i dont meet said rules that i didnt read. Ok fine i
missed that. But to tell me i cant sell multiple item in the B/S/T
forum when there are no posted rules at all as of 2/11/08 is kinda
funny to me. Its almost as if certian people dont want you there for
competition. (Again IMHO)
To require a seller to have a web site and contact info is defiantly
different. But why i ask A BIG WHY?
1) to have your product/service for people to see on a web page?
OK so isnt that what i put in my sale threads? All the info i want you
guys to see? Explainign what i'm selling, pics and for how much? So to
me it becomes redundant...(again IMHO...)
2)An email addres link to said site?
i would say that 99% of the people who read my thread will PM me
anyways. And can also click on my name and opt. to send me an email if
they chose to. Also in my forum profile is my AIM and Yahoo IM names.
Which is another way people have gotton ahold of me a lot as i'm online
A LOT.... And i dont get whats wrong with my AOL email account. You
cant get cooties from it???
3) Will it give me more credibility with people just because i have a
web site?
I think not... As i did find out that its really not that hard to get
a site (which i honestly didnt know...) Then what would actually make
any real difference if i had one or not?
Yes I'll admit i was still a bit mad at the editing of my first
thread. But i got over that. Heck it was greatful that my thread was
copyed to me and returned to me in a PM. But then to not be allowed to
post in the B/S/T section over some rules that dont exist? Thats what
started me thinging it was a stupid set of rules. And wondering why
there were set that way...
Tuna prolly doesnt start a thread more to the fact that he has no
time. Ever notice that it takes him a bit to answer emails sometimes.
This is prolly a sign that he is swamped and has no time or need to do
a thread in the dealers section as he has more than enuff to keep him
busy. As for me i dont have that much luck as of right now. (maybe one
day)
And lastly i went to check around on the forums to see how things
were? I noticed may things that slipped thru the cracks and was indeed
upset for what felt like i was being singled out. I also noticed that
wasnt the case. I saw two other threads that had been edited. Poor
Warpedmephisto wasnt warned and he tried to follow the rules and got
moved from the B/S/T section to the dealers section and then had his
thread closed???? Again to the point of there arent any rules for the
B/S/T as of 2/11/08. That didnt keep him from getting Moved/closed.
heck i know i'm, not the only one that thinks the rules are WAY TO
STRICK. But this thread was moved to the fight club so fast that nobody
had a chance to see it. (Again whos hiding what i ask?)
With this set of rules the proshop will be a monopoly of RPG theads
cause not to many people are willing to jump thru hoops just for a spot
in there. (Makes me wonder where or who these rules came from...)
Again this is JUST MY OPINION, to those who dont agree you have that
right. To those that do being that i cant really sell my stuff here I
have started a new thread on AO and if you need anything i'll still be
around just not selling any items here as i think it is to much work
for what its worth....

and after re-reading a few thing a saw something that was kinda funny. So i added it to my sig. It was a quote from someone elses post, Heres what is said just as i had it in my sig:
"being banned from both forums because you're too much of a dealer for the B/S/T and not enough of a dealer for the Proshop is just retarded." The GREAT Pixelguru...
the next day it was gone. Somebody had deleted it from my profile. So i added it back. Again it was delted without any reason as to why. i have seen worse sigs but heaven forbid i go against the powers that be. So this is where i got a little out of hand. i asked a few friends to use that as there sig and it seems we had a bit of issues after that. Well i still cant log onto PBL but its no real lose.....Zero Gravity Customs
