      Looking for a good leader

My question is which one do you vote for? If you boil them both down what do you really have? What is their real plan to fix everything??

I think the real fix on the economy is not the govt. or the bail out it has to be a change in the way the US population does it's business. We all want cheap, but at the same time we have the attitude "I'm worth more than $16 per hour. So Walmart, (just an example don't flame me over this) Says OK they (consumers) want cheap they don't want made in the USA, they really don't care about quality or if it will even kill them (lead toys just 1 ex.). They Just Want it CHEAP. So that's what we got. All our production jobs have left gone to China, Where they make $16 per day. Along with all the country's wealth. So now here we are.

As a president how do you fix this?? Does Obamma or McCain even know how to fix this? Can they fix this. Do we as a people want to endure the hardship that will entail to actually fix this? Are we willing to actually work? Does this generation even know how?

Is it still representation if ones representative goes against ones will?
There are still decent congressmen and senators out there. With all the hoopla now about the presidential election, the local ones get overlooked.

I hear what you are saying about out wonderful presidential choices. This is one of the biggest "Vote-for-the-other-guy" elections I can recall. While I am not at all thrilled with either, I do know which one I DO NOT under any circumstances want in the oval office.

Me too, but I have a bad feeling its going to happen anyways.

That being said, had he shown just a bit of inititave and not being a puppet for his handlers I would have closed my eyes and cast that vote.

By the way the polls are going we may not even be able to buy guns or ammo soon.

The problem is, that the handlers and puppet arent too different from one another. Another one of my big issues is that there are too many uninformed and lazy people out there who just vote with their emotions. My mother is a perfect example of it. She doesn't like one candidate because hes "Icky". I told her to do the world a favor and stay home on voting day. I understand that it is very tough for most people to stay informed, but if a dope like me can form a semi-educated opinion then anyone can. Quite frankly I feel it is our duty as citizens.

My goal in the days leading up to election day is to educate myself as much as I can about all of the other elections and candidates in NY as I can.
