    hello gentlemen

All your base are belong to us.

So did anyone happen to check out change.gov a few days ago. At the bottom it had "Agenda" and it had all of them listed out. Many of them were rather scary imo (aka marxist), apparently Rush (radio talkshow) brought this up on his show and over the weekend Obama had the site wiped clean. There is no longer any list of Agendas, and this stuff was pages and pages and pages.

This is all going down Animal Farm style (IMO)

You have no chance to survive make make your time.

In the spirit of charity, I give you this:

Address Gun Violence in Cities: As president, Barack Obama would repeal the Tiahrt Amendment, which restricts the ability of local law enforcement to access important gun trace information, and give police officers across the nation the tools they need to solve gun crimes and fight the illegal arms trade. Obama and Biden also favor commonsense measures that respect the Second Amendment rights of gun owners, while keeping guns away from children and from criminals who shouldn't have them. They support closing the gun show loophole and making guns in this country childproof. They also support making the expired federal Assault Weapons Ban permanent, as such weapons belong on foreign battlefields and not on our streets.
For the record, that is not quite what the Tiahrt Amendment actually does.
The commonsense measures that Obama proposes do not respect the rights of gun owners, at least not what he proposed while in the Illinois State Senate.
What exactly is this gun show loop hole? He has spoken about it a number of times, but I have never heard him define or explain what he is talking about. If it is what I think it is, it is not good for private citizens who want to legally transfer firearms amongst each other. I hope it is not the bill he sponsored in Illinois...
What does childproof mean? Is it a simple trigger lock, or is going to try and mandate biometric safeguards like he has stated he wanted to do while serving in the Illinois State Senate? I hope it is not the latter. Good luck finding an affordable firearm, and pray to god the battery that runs the biometric system is charged when you have unwelcome visitors
And the assault weapons ban? Because that did a lot to keep assault weapons away from criminals the first time

i believe its how people can carry something into a gun show and sell it off without any transfer of ownership paperwork being filed, but its not really a loop hole, cause at least here in Indiana you can sell to anyone you want there are no rules to buy sell trade of personal fire arms here just new ones from shops have to be bound to an owner at first then its all good.

but let me ask this if you want to ban assault weapons why ban semi auto, high cap mag toting civi AR-15's with collapseable butt stocks? boy so now them criminals might have to get some machine work down on a lower and get some better parts to make it a full auto, yeah right they will buy the illegal full auto ones out of some guys van that can only say prices in english

Dend 78, i i believe that you are right about the loop hole, I know that here in Va were are still free to buy/sell/trade guns at our own will such as gun shows or local news paper type mags.

Ive always kinda wondered about that though. It does make it very easy for felons to come up with a gun. But if someone like that wants an assult rifle, where do you think he is going to get it? I doubt it would be a gun show or news paper.

It's not a loophole. There is no laws being legally circumvented... so how can it be a loophole.

Basically, the government wants to control what legal property a citizen can selll to another citizen in a private transaction.
f I want to sell my neighbor an UZI or MAC, it should be my business.

My point was that he has not defined it. I know what he was likely referring to, but he has never given a specific outline of what he is talking about.

Even so, why should a private citizen be bound to a regulation of industry while not engaging in business for profit? It is not a loophole at all.

But to own a MAC you have to posses a license that allows you to own a weapon of that caliber. So if you sell that gun or move you have to update that information saying where that gun is being held. And it's not difficult paper work to go through, from my experience the only difficulty was waiting on the ATF to respond as that takes time.

Of course this is assuming we're talking about legal transactions.

This thread is now about ZOMBIES!

                          1. Bushmaster AR15
                          2. Remington 870
                          3. My Tacoma with some plate armor welded to it and a sort of armored box a person could ride in the back and shoot from
                          4. Substitute armor with Taurus PT1911 (dad's brand new!)
                          5. LA Woman, The Doors
                          6. William Shatner, because I know he can
                          7. Think I'd hideout at my house, its rural and has most everything you need to get by, I'd also weld some plate to vital things like windows and doors
                          8. If I had to leave I'd go to the black rock desert assuming I had enough gear to get by
                          9. "Drink to me!"

alternately a more fun version is to fill in the squares with pictures of your choice and post back.
but its easier to make a list

edit or take a picture or all your stuff or whatever, any format goes!
