So I have a question for the mods (whoever you are) why is this nonsense allowed in this paintball community?

The bad attitudes of a handful of guys have been ignored by the moderators for years. (ever since Tom left) Members got feed up with this place and left only to regather in other forums.

So here we are with a newly revamped AO which is completely dead and devoid of all new paintball content. The only participation at all is in the very thing that shut AO down in the first place. The so called (UN-moderated) "Friendly Corner" is only partly to blame, bad attitudes of a few grew throughout AO and quite literally ended here.

It's pretty sad that AO was once the envy of all other paintball manufacturers and is now a sickening stain on TK's legacy, in my honest opinion. I hate to say it but there is a shelf life to the Automag and this place in it's current state does not help with the longevity of it's run. People will be aging out of our community MUCH sooner than later and without a solid foundation that AO use to be, only leaves the next generation at a massive loss, which WILL BE the end to it all.

It would be VERY easy to point fingers at every single person that that participated in running members off, and sadly it was all for their own entertainment. But when you reduce it down to it's lowest denominator, this place is dead due the lack of moderation.

This place could be turned around quite easily and rebooted to it's formal glory, but not without a group of (new??) moderators that are willing to squash those members with bad attitudes and those that are only here to stir the pot for their own entertainment!

Who's the captain of this ship and do you care enough to make things right, it wouldn't take much???

This is the OFF TOPIC area just in case you missed that.
If you don't like it you can either ignore it or stay away from AO altogether and start you own forum. No one is making you stay on AO. you are a self-serving whiner who uses this platform for you own benefit.

              Seriously, don't like it LEAVE,

I respect Luke and agree that AO has less paintball content than it used to have and still deserves.
Now, I don't know squat about running an internet message board.
But I was under the impression that it was connected to the amount of traffic generated.
Yet this one thread has been active for over three years. Over 1,970 responses and 1.6 million views across 132 pages.
That's a lot of traffic over a simple question "How's it going?"

"Off Topic" does not mean un-moderated. Where is Nobody? I liked him.
Telling people to leave just because their opinion offends you, that actually offends me.
I don't want them to leave as many have ~ through choice or discipline. I want those perspectives to help understand.
And to be honest, I enjoy making fun of them. (In my own mind)

This is the second time you have insinuated that AO is not a complete failure due to this one post. The number of views or the handful of guys participating in it, does not suggest this place is not a complete loss.

My point is, with proper no nonsense moderation which would include the removal of all the 'cancers' this place is plagued with, it could be better and more active than it ever was in the past. There is a lot going on in the Mag community that AO could benefit from, but here we are. People have lost touch with who's house were in..

When was the last automag really sold? 2001/2002? That's like 25 years ago.

The marker industry changed a long time ago. Heck I don't see gas through frames as a commonly sold automag product to help alleviate all the macro line nonsense. Nummech was doing it but no one has stepped up since. Level 10s are finicky and annoying to deal with if you're just trying to play.

Great marker at the time but actually improving the automag at this point is going to take some serious design effort that most folks either a) don't understand, b) don't have the money / time or a combination of both.

I'd love to see an ambitious project of making a gas through electronic automag with eyes.

PBNation more or less died but MCB is chugging right along.

The views are largely irrelevant given how many bots have been crawling this site.

It's not great when the largest thread on a forum is under off topic.

There's plenty going on in the Mag community to justify rebooting AO.
