    1) The Omen - Saw it when I was pretty young and it really spooked me. I still don't like Mastiffs.
    2) Reservoir Dogs - So much blood. Great movie, though.
    3) Kung Pow, Enter the Fist - WHY ON EARTH DID I PAY TO SEE THAT MOVIE!?!?!?!?!

Man Bites Dog was a great movie. Disturbing but great. Best thing the French have ever done.

Definately, Looking For Mr. Goodbar, Taxi Driver nipping at it's heels.
...Oh yea...Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. What were they thinking when they made that movie for kids?

Darn that was the first thing I thought of when I saw this thread... That was some scary stuff, luckily it's over now and these young kids don't know the horror, ooooh the horror! Like the sharebears... *mav begins to shake with fear*

Hmm I don't remember watching any scary movie, ever... I never watch them alone and never really pay attention...

Well, I don't know if it's because I'm a little older than most of people posting here or what, but when I was young (8 years) my Brother (18 years) took me to the theater to see two movies which succeded in greatly disturbed me at that time.

              1) Jaws - every time I got near water all I could think of was large sharks sneaking up on me!

              2) Alien - That damn "hand" looking alien which attaches itself to someone. The guy then dies later giving "birth" to a new alien. Visions of it sneaking up on me at night!

I think that they're both classic movies.

classic...but not disturbing. Maybe a little scary to a 8 year old, but not disturbing.

The Mothman Prophecies - wasn't really disturbing, but i saw the actual documentary on that movie, and it makes you think if what the people are saying really happened to them. Kind of gives me the creeps knowing that before some major disasters, like chernoble, or the silver bridge incident, some creature was seen by many, yet we still don't know what it is.

Mothman Prophices is not really disturbing but like you said the fact that this creature ight really exist in the world is creepy.I saw Pet Project when I was young and it freaked me out,but it couldn't compete with the Little House on the Praire movies(ooooh!goosebumps).

Mother's Day. It is one of the early Troma movies. It isn't disturbing to me, but most do find it to be so. Actually, it is sort of disturbing that people actually put money into it, and that the one actor in it now gets bit roles as cops in movies like L.A. Confidential and some other hit movies whose names I cannot remember.

IFC movies can be pretty odd.

The music from Lucio Fulci's Zombie is pretty distrubing!

The video footage at a Tool show is a little disturbing (with all of the nude frolicking and whatnot).

BTW, while I don't find Hellraiser to be disturbing, Clive's personal artwork is.
