My most disturbing movie was Behind Enemy Lines, It's unfair really but it hit a personal chord. I spent 2 years at a command that's primary job was to find mass graves in Bosnia, when Owen Wilson's character tripped into one I shutdown for a bit.

Second on the list though has got to be any Darren Aronofsky picture, He superbly details the descent into madness.

He apparently is doing a film that is a prequel to Batman

Naked Lunch. Very Bizarre and downright confusing.

Demons. Extremely gorey and very funny in a sick sort of way.

John Carpenter's Prince of Darkness. Absolutely horrible acting but makes you want to vomit what they show in it.

                just my $.02

it's not a movie, but the "faces of death" series has to be the most disturbing stuff i've ever seen. it portrays real life death scenes caught on tape except for some which have been reenacted. the first time my friend showed it to me, i almost puked my guts out. disturbing stuff.

^^^^^ I don't know why but that stuff doesn't bother me.

Now the sex scene in Lost Highway... that's wierd. Bill Pullman has like no emotion.

Lost Highway was just wierd all around

                      obsolete,

you've got a stronger stomach than me then. i don't know something about watching someone die...it just brings us closer to our own mortality. it's kind of surreal in a way, even watching a video of it. you can almost place yourself in the position of those people and it makes you think about what your last thoughts would have been. i don't know, maybe i just hink too much at times.

I don't know why that stuff just doesn't bother me. I might just be a mean person. Who knows.

I love videos of people crashing bikes and skateboards and such. That's my favorite thing to see on consumption junction.

Hawpunch, are you currently at Case? I used to know a couple of people there.
I haven't played much in the last few years. Plan on getting back in, and being that I am a Cleveland resident, I was wondering where you play. Anyplace good?

As for Faces of Death, it does have some good outfits in it.

                              Monkey brains, anyone?

a movie that was distrubing just a little bit to me was american history-x when the black guy gets his teeth kicked in. that and the shower scene.

I love Clockwork Orange but i dont wanna pay 24.95 for the dvd so the divx will work for now.

No movie has really disturbed me that much. for example the stuff on www.rotten.com doesn't get me to wanna puke. i mean of course it doesnt make me feel good but im strangely drawn to it. anyway i guess its because of how many movies i saw when i was little.
