How many AOers have something seriouslly wrong with them?

Yes, Yes, unofortuantly it is another AO have something thread.

I have a rather messed up left leg. I was born with a bowed tibia and my left leg was very bent. like this:
    left>>>( |<<<right
At age 8, I took a nap and the doctors broke my leg, and made it straight. Well, things didn't turn out all happy. Since that wonderfull day, I have had many surguries, broken my leg 5 times, a bunch of invections.

Probably been in a hostipal bed for almost a half year, crutches for 2 years, weelchair for a month or two.
Over 40 scars on my leg.

Very think bone and little muscle from mutliple surgerious.

    Pics soon!

lol, I think this is the point where I should make a sad puppy face and ask for a free E-Mag

Here's a pic with my leg brace (hard to see) which if I didnt have my leg probably would snap in half:

What about you people? Any other mutant freaks here?

Man, that really sucks. But hey, look at the bright side, when paintballing, everyone will underestimate you and drop their guard. Giving you ample time to paint a mona lisa on their face.

        another L5/S1 in da house

and my L5 vertebra is slipped forward a bit(doctor called it a spondololesthesis(spelling??))which compresses the disc even more.sleeping with the a.c. on really makes me sore in the morning.i run like quasimoto and have a real tough time getting my socks on in the morning but i am able to live and work ok. when a less invasive more effective surgery comes along ill try that out. in europe they have these artificial disks that look real cool. not approved here tho.

I have an extra, weak vertebre in my back. The lowest vertebre in normal is 2 seperate vertebre in my back. I could bend over to pick up a show and completely throw my back out. The vertebre will slip to the side and pinch down my siatic nerve causing a shooting pain down my right leg until my chiropractor sets me straight. It normally takes a week of therapy for a bad one.

load if you dont mind me asking... how do you play paintball with something like that? i would think with as much action that goes on in a game you could really hurt your self(i would think this goes to most of you guys w/ problems) sorry o hear about ur problems.

I guess I should rephrase that a bit. I could fall out of a moving plane onto a rock pile and my back will be fine. Or I could open a door and the pressure change between rooms will cause my back to go out. It's unpredictable. It can also be painful but it's not damaging. It's a genetic problem and not a tearing or degenerative problem. So this is as bad as it gets.

I can eat some cheese, but not a lot. It does suck sometimes, but its not a real problem...
