Everyone keeps forgetting about the Kings. The smackdown will be layed upon the Avalanche and Los Angeles shall skate away victorious.

        Hey, I can hope, can't I?

LA KINGS BABY. Three of the best forwards in the league today are on that team. Ziggy Pallfy, Allison, Deadmarsh. Plus Potvin and Storr in net. Schneider, Norstrom on D. They got a good team. Can't wait for Ally to get off the IR after his knee injury. Hey anyone know if the Grim Reaper is still playing? (Stu Grimson) Just curious.

Well, I'll agree with that part of the post! Generally speaking I have serious problems with the kings fans.

Palffy is good, allison is good, deadmarsh is good. Three of the best in the league. That's pushing it. You could make an argument for Pallfy and allison if your doing a list of like the top 25 or top 50, but not deadmarsh.

Not that I have room to talk but....

Ok well Deadmarsh isn't one of the best in the NHL but he has added a ton to the kings powerplay. Another forward I forgot to mention who is darn good is Bryan Smolinski. I must say the Ducks made a good move by picking up Oates. Oh and the Kings Felix the cat Potvin is a darn good goalie.

This thread looked like it could use a little life. I haven't been paying much attention this year cause of school, and other things. Who is leading the pack this year in goals?

                    There's a couple tied with 15

Alexi Kovalev, Marian Hossa, Markus Naslund and Marian Gaborik all have 15 each, but the bus man driving the bus right now is Mario. 11 goals, but 35 assists for a total of 46 points and a 13 point lead over the rest of the pack for the Ross trophy. Take a look at: http://www.usatoday.com/sports/hocke...rs-skaters.htm That's noe of the best pages for stats.

personally I think Mario is an ***. He really screwed his teamates over last season. He chose to sit out games so he could play in the Olympics. How the hell could you leave your team out to dry like that? I hope somebody takes a run at him this season and hurts him.

Rangers are finally starting to play decent. Bure has 6 goals in the last 4 games, he's paired with Nedved and Petrovicky and the line is absolutely flying. Lindros is playing a hell of a lot better. Best part is they have a 19 year old kid playing goalie for them now while Richter is out with his concussion. And he's doing a hell of a job too. Once he matures a little bit more he has the ability to be the next Roy.

Plus Holik will be back tommorow or next week. He'll be hungry to catch up with the rest of the team, so he should work hard.

The Petro/Nedved/Bure line is amazing. Top three stars of the game last night, in case you missed it. It's good to see a line produce like that, hopefully they don't fall apart like the FLY line last year.

They definately played good, but could make more improvements. Haha how bad was that when the two D (I think it was Levfeve and someone else) fell and the Jackets scored?? So bad, weak goal too, Blackburn stood there like a cone. the second goal was pretty weak too Ithough, but Dvorak should of had his man sooner instead of standing around.

Ditto. You have to remember, when Roy came into the league he could steal games. Heck, he stole a stanley cup for montreal. They were NOT the best team in the league, decent, but not nearly the best. They just had the best goalie!

And on a side note, can the avs just put together ONE complete game....please......anyone.....

I never said it would happen soon. most likely it's gonna be in 3-4 years when Richter has retired(or knowing Sather been traded away for some over the hill bum).

From what I've seen of Blackburn (19yr old goalie for the rangers) I'm not impressed. As far as Mario is concerned he is to good to talk bad about. A lot of players left their teams high and dry to play in the olympics. Plus he got more out of the olympics then he would of gotten with the Pens. Anyways. I'm hoping the Kings will get healthy and get more life back.
