Well, can't believe that you missed Skinny Puppy, Sisters of Mercy and Bauhaus, the projenitors of the genre. Siouxie and the Banshees, Electric Hellfire Club, Beborn Beton, and Fronline Assembly are also classics (Although Frontline Assembly is borderline Industrial). Apotheosis, Velvet Acid Christ, Haujobb, Noise Unit, Unit 187, Prick, Die Krupps and VNV Nation are all pretty good, Voltaire is unusal and interesting.

Yeah, I'm a metal head. I like all sorts of stuff: Mercyful Fate, D.R.I., Soulfly, Dimmu Borgir etc. Last time I checked I had about 750 metal CD's.

Metal makes you smarter. I subscribe to the Word of the Day e-mails from dictionary.com. Today's word was "Descant" and I knew what it was since "Descanting the Insalubrious" by Carcass is one of my favorite albums. Descant means to sing praise and Descanting the Insalubrious means to sing the praises of that which is unholy to the body

While the thread is at the top anyway, I figured I'll comment on this seeing as how it just made me

There was a song on the first alum called Black Magic, or cigaM kcalB, that supposedly had lyrics taken from some weird spell book someone supposedly got from the Middle East. Before the record came out, J kept saying crazy stuff happened when they were recording the song (i.e. a Crow appearing in his house one morning) and that the had to change the lyrics and such. There's also alot of backwards messages on the Album (as with pretty much any other ICP or Psy. album).

But it's all BS. Just a clever marketing ploy because Psychopatic Records are the king of marketing. They could sell petrified dog poop and make you want to buy it.

Damn, my taste in music almost totally changed in the past 3 years lol. Now I'm much more of a true metalhead. After you learn to play metal, you learn to appreciate it alot more than you ever could before u could play it because you can just feel the music so much better. Well ya, heres my new list of bands.
