AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.
I ran a 16 guage multi strand wire to each 100watt light.
according to the chart 16 guage wire is good to up to 12amps, and 100/12 is about 8amps.
I'm gunna have to get some thick wire and run it to a power distribution block inside the cab for the horns and the light switch to run off of.
I'll probably run a relay from the fuse box so that no power can go to the lights when the ignition is off.
So far your truck looks sweet. My dad's got a 350 with the 7.3L, but his is more of a utility work truck than a cruiser. He's got the low end gears and a utility box with a steel tube rack on it too.
I've always admired the low rider dually rigs i see cruisin on track down the highway.
Do you have nice leather seats and a cool interior? You should get those nice aftermarket wood trim pieces, they look killer.
I did taker her out and put the Fog lights in today. Did not get em wired but got em mounted. And I did buy her a set of real small oval driving lights to mount on the rear bumper for work lights (hooking up camper at night and some extra back up illumination. She is gonna get them mounted tomorrow and I then start wiring it all up. So new pictures coming of that!!
No, I have cloth seats. Medium Grey as a matter of fact. Have gone with them in the last two trucks. I had my fill of leather in that 97 Lariat 4X4 I had. For one thing American manufacturers are using cheap leather. It cracks pretty early no matter what you do. My truck was showing that and my Father in Laws Chevy truck got bad early too. He had his replaced at 40,000 miles. Mine was not quite as bad when I sold it but it was close. I can tell you I saw a F350 King Ranch Model the other day and that Leather was STOUT! I do not know of any way other than that one to get it though. It was like a Saddle leather. Nice! But I sticking to cloth from now on. It holds up better and its cooler in summer and warmer in winter. I may indeed do some wood trim some day. It does look nice.
AGD, where we are so good we can do it with only ONE tube!
Custom "F-350 Super Crewzer" Badges are now on...These are milled Aluminum polished and painted lettering to match my Pin Stripes along with the Black in the F-350 part.
Also note that new Auxiliary rear lamps just under each edge of the bumper. Small Driving lamps on their own switch in the cab for more light for backing around and in working and hooking up back there when I am using the camper. Also usefull to have them on thier own switch so you can blind tailgaters whenever you need to!
The rear Badges and lights in this one...

Its of one of the two Badges on the sides but it did not realy come out too good. Too much reflection but you can kind of make out the Lettering matching the Pin Stripe bellow it. That red reflection is of me in the background with my World Cup Diablo X ball shirt on!!!

Finding all sorts of realy old truck modification pictures in my hard drive...
Here I had installed a Fan behind the Aux. tranny cooler to be able to cool it further at slow towings speeds. This was on my previous truck and I may do this again but this time I may indeed put two of these fans side by side!!!! WOW!
