I like Macs but they just cost waaaaay too much and I like the games on PCs more.

I still love my flatscreen from Apple that I have been using for about 3 years that I had with my old mac but I like my Dell desktop better than my mac

Oh, and I saw that add awhile ago, its funny

The processor's architecture is the determining factor. On the throughbreads (sp) its an EMULATED 64-bit, the G4 is a true 128-bit processor.

Macs velocity engine makes if far superior for multi tasking when the computer needs to take bigger chunks of info.

Almost any game that you can find, was made and designed on a mac, then put to PC that has a larger public base. Do some homework then come back.

Macs are pretty fast, but they chop easily...and they have a short range. PCs are much more accurate and long ranged. PCs also have a lot of upgrades, where the Mac only has a few...

What I find Iritating is that "I saved christmas" Macintosh commercial.

Ok, so the new Mac OSX, you can plug in your digital camera and download the images instantaneously, whereas on the PC you have to fumble around installing drivers and stuff, right?

              ...maybe on windows 9x....

It's like comparing the newest F-15 or F-18 to the P-52 Mustang. You can't compare the older model/program to the newer one.

Windows XP: I plug in my digital camera, a dialog box pops up, asks me what I want to do. I download the photos to my desktop and BAM, I'm done.

It's no comparison. Either you have NO FREEKING clue what you're doing on a PC, and don'w know how to plug in a USB device, or you're making a comparison to relativly obsolete software.

Either way you chew it, The commercial sucks.

Are macs easier to use? 10 years ago, yes. Now? Probably not.

Heres something else to think. If Apple had better business sense, everyone would be using it right now instead of windows. Actually they could have insured that there would be no windows at all. If Apple would have developed their OS for the x86 platform that everyone already had at the time macintosh came out, instead of expecting everyone to buy a new computer, I bet that everything would be different right now. Seriously, why would anyone have ever bought the first versions of windows (which sucked bad) when they could just go and buy the mac operating system for their computer?

                Just a thought.

well 2 reasons, PCs cant run OSx and that if they "insured that there would be no windows at all" thats a monopoly. The reason most people dont use OSX and macs is that the cost factor. Your paying a lot more for a mac than a PC. The cost is justified with what your getting but a lot of ignorant mac haters out there just dont see that, they just want to play thier stupid games.

I know they can't, but the point is, they could have. Apple bought the technology basically to use a mouse. If they would have used that to develop an OS for x86 which they could have done just as easily, why would there have even been windows. And yeah, that is a good point about monopoly, but what exactly could be done about it?
