Confirmation is it was Saddam they were after at some meeting in a deep bunker. 2000 pound bunker busters lazer guided bombs were dropped. Several in a row. No confirmation of damage...

I have never been more worried for two of my friends before in my life. I have two of my high school buddies over there right now on the front lines. I'm worried to death for them right now, my hands and body are literally shaking. Good luck Ernest and Annibal and to all the other service men and women in the Persian Gulf.

Operation Iraqi Freedom i do beleive. I could be wrong.

It is still "the Gulf War" the original was stopped by a cease fire. So this is another operation. The first was "Desert Storm" this one is a second operation. A cease fire doesn't end a war. It just suspends it. This one is called "Operation Iraqis Freedom"

I hope those bombs worked cause it could get really ugly if ground forces have to enter the city.

I don't think it's a matter of "if" ground forces enter the city, but "when". From what I'm hearing on the news, ground forces are a definite part of the plan.
