I use a secret marinade passed down to me from an old friend, after that you don't need to put anything on it. Anyone who uses A1 on my steaks, never eats one again.

Post your recipe. Always interested in trying new things.

I usually use a store marinade called Stubb's. I add additional garlic and red pepper (flakes - the kind you put on pizza). I've been rotiserre Tri-tip and it comes out great.

A1 is gross. A good piece of meat only need a little salt and pepper.

I cook mine with the following
                    -Soaked Hickory chips
-Marinaided in Dale sauce and Dr. Pepper for 24 hrs
-placed in pie pan with whole garlic cloves, potatos, pepper corns, carrots, onions.
-cooked in pan unti veggies are done.
                    -Cooked over flame till med-rare
-Add salt and pepper and 1 teaspoon of soy for every 20 oz.

This is the most perfect steak that can be made by mortal hands. Gods steak is only slightly better.

I was always die-hard A1, until last summer. I still use A1 in my marinade(sp?) but not as a sauce, and only a small amount. Still, A1 does the trick on meat that has been poorly prepared.

A1 can easily fix a broken steak, but it can't improve a good one. Sorry, it is just the truth.
